Excellent college

Doaba college, jalandhar is a good opportunity for further career prospect. Its infrastructure is in well equipped manner. Number of facilities like library, smart class rooms, labs for all streams, swimming pool, badminton hall, large auditorium, open air theater, hostel for boys and girls, campus cafe, seminar halls and clean and green environment. Admission are started in college from april and till end of august happening. Experienced faculty of college has counsel the new students and listen very carefully their queries. There are lot of scholarships for scholars on the basis of merit, marks and poverty.

I have chosen the Bachelor of Computer Application for my further study after 12th because of its numerous scope and future opportunities in the fangled era. Faculty members were experienced and knowledgeable, they support the students . There were 1 teacher in the class for 30-35 students and if there were more students then they were divided sections. Almost faculty members have masters qualified and some of them are PHD also. Experienced lab technicians for labs. Teachers teaching was very informative and useful. Mid terminal examination system also used. Before final semester and annual exams teachers took mid term exams for practice.

Campus placement facility is good , many companies come direct in the college and sometime students visit other colleges for open placement fairs.

Fees structure is good , student can pay the fees in installments or full fee of semester. Numerous scholarship schemes for scholars. Many placement companies come to the college and students placed.

Extra curricular activities like talent hunt, doaba fest, media fest and some department level events occur in the college. Library has many books of different authors. Some classrooms are smart facilitated but others are simple chalk board rooms. For sports, large grounds are available in the college. Badminton hall for boys and girls , swimming pool facility etc.
