Remarks
Everything is good. I dont have any complaints as such. Things are pretty smooth here and since we are provided with notes and everything so it's a bit of relief or else I panicked in the beginning that there is no classroom teaching.
Course Curriculum Overview
We have wo internal exams of 20 marks: one before mid-semester and the other before finals. It had a few 5 marks questions, and one or two long questions. Half the preparation gets done during the preparation of internals. 50% weight-age of these exams is added to the final performance. Final exams, usually have long questions and 5 marks questions serving as the short answers.
Placement Experience
There are no placements here. Distance learning courses dont provide placements as far as I know. People do this course on a side basis to know more about something like that. So there are no internships or placements.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is very very feasible and affordable. Its very minimal. The fees are around 2000 per annum which almost is like paying nothing and books cost separately. Also online notes are provided to us.
Campus Life
It is a school of distance education so I don't know much about the extracurricular activities. I only go there to give my exams that's it. There are some online activities that are held like quizzes and webinars etc.
Admission
Candidates seeking admission to UG should have passed 10+2 level examination. Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of merit in qualifying degree examination.Prospectus along with the application forms can be obtained from the office of SDE upon payment of required fee.
Faculty
All of them are well qualified and have a different style of teaching. They are very supportive and helpful. Lecturers of my majors are interactive and friendly with the students. They guide us about the further studies and work options. Never did I hear anything different from my experience, about the faculty of other subjects.
