Remarks
IPS can improve on ensuring holistic growth of students by hosting business workshops and skill development sessions os that the practical knowledge of students is improved. Apart from that it is a good college to study at.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum was interested. Since I pursued my MBA in Finance, I had a lot of financial accounting subjects in my Final year since it was the specialisation year. In first year I studied general management. The subjects were all in all good but IPS can definitely improve in adding more practical skills.
Placement Experience
Companies such as Airtel, Vodafone, ICICI came at the placement drive to hire students. The interview procedure is very gruelling but it gave me a very good exposure of how the corporate world works.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The semester fees was approx 30,000 for every semester. But apart from that there are a lot of other charges such as admission charges, registration charges, extracurricular charges, exams charges etc. That brings the total semester fees to somewhat 40,000. The fees for the total course is approx 2 lakhs.
Campus Life
College Fests like TechnoParv was an annual deal. Every year this fancy event was hosted where in singers would come to perform and there were fashion shows that were held for students to participate. A lot of extracurricular activities like nukkad nataks, debate competitions, dance competitions were hosted every year.
Admission
You have to have a minimum of 50% marks in a Bachelor's Degree of minimum three years. No entrance exam score is needed for admission. However, if you have appeared for an entrance, you might get an edge over other applicants.
Faculty
I had very good professors. They were very knowledgeable and experienced. They did not hesitate to repeat concepts for students who did not get it the first time. Especially the accounts professors were very well versed with the latest accounting trends and updates.
