Course Curriculum Overview
The duration off the course is two years divided into four semesters.It is a very popular course nowadays because students from any background can pursue it.The core subjects of our course includes economics , accountancy , business management , corporate law , as well as the other elective course ( marketing or finance ) in which you later want to build a professional career.It is a very good course for those who wanted to pursue a managerial career in private or public sectors in the country as well as abroad.
Placement Experience
80% of my batch got placed this year . The highest package offered was around 18 lpa by TCS , which was grabbed by one of my batch mate in the marketing industry . The average package ranges from 4 to 6 lpa. Summer internships are also offered to students who want to work in the industry and gain some work experience .
Fee Structure And Facilities
The total fees for one year is 1.68 L . This fees structure excluding the hostel & mess fees.You need to deposit a one time registration fees of 1000 at the start of foundation course . I consider this fees to be very feasible as compared to other top college of the country.
Campus Life
The labs of the college are well maintained . Our college organizes inter cultural fests , workshops , seminars , dance competition to help in narrowing the cultural & regional differences between the students. Sports tournaments like football , tennis , volleyball , chess etc are organised by our student council.
Alumni/Alumna
The seniors of my college are really very helpful . Our college has a alumni cell which organizes events in which the current and pass-outs can come together and share their thought process . Our seniors also tell us about their experiences in the industry , how difficult was for them to cope up and many other such things.
Admission
For the admission in this course you need to qualify a national level test which is conducted by the apex institution. You need to obtain a good percentile in CMAT/CAT/XAT/MAT/ATMA . Moreover you need to secure at least 50% in your graduation subject.I have scored 60 percentile in my CAT exam and was called for an interview round . After clearing the interview process I was granted admission in the college.
Faculty
Our department has a blend of young and experienced faculty members with industry exposure.Our doubts are cleared by our teachers . Many a times guest faculty also gives us insights about the product & marketing industry , how well we should plan our courses and many more . Use of presentations helps us in deeper understanding of the subject and are taken care by our teachers.
