Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is simple and easy to grasp it is like semester wise a small unit will be provided. And exam pattern is they will take 3 exam in 6 months 1.will be CIA 2. DIA 3. CIA FINAL and then again new semester will start.

Placement Experience

Yes, they provide internships. I was placed in one of the top most company in India known as TCS. We have so many companies who are being providing the opportunities to get placed. I was selected to TCS company and got a basic pay of 1.8L per year without allowances.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is so expensive when I checked with the students who are studying now in the college. However, the facilities they provide are good. It was feasible when we were studying and all had enjoyed well in the college.

Campus Life

They very much good in all the extra curricular activities. They provide all the equipment required for the work they are having a good facility and having a trained staff having large labs and tools like advanced computers.

Hostel Facilities

I didn't opt for hostel but the hostel facility is good and both girls and boys hostel are separate. They are not been allowed out during study time. They provide good quality of food to the student and there is a basic level of cleanliness maintained.

Admission

Final admission is based on the score obtained in entrance exam conducted by the college. Admissions are also based on academic performance of students too ie their results in the 10th and 12th board exams.

Faculty

Excellent Faculties. All have a good passion towards their proffession and loved to make the students brighter and motivated. They are so friendly and made us to reach in high positions. They are really awesome.

Life in HIMT

Placement Experience:

The placements for B.Sc Nautical science in HIMT is 90% and above . The placement drive usually starts in the 2nd year (4th semester) and for girls 1st year (2nd semester). The companies which usually come for placements in my college are MOLMI,MOLTA, ZODIAC,SANMAR,GENCO, ONESEA etc ... The package for cadets differ from company to company and type of vessel.

HIMT COLLEGE REVIEW

Placement Experience:

Placements are really good in HIMT. I got placed in 1st year itself in MOLMI. All faculties try their best to prepare us for the placements and it shows in the placement interview also. Usually companies come for placements from 2nd year but there are some companies who want to take girl cadets 1st year itself. MOLMI, MOLTA etc came to our college for placements. After completion of the course, company will call for induction and accordingly they will call for joining the ship. For finishing the cadet ship , we have finish 12 months of sea time. After that a lot courses has to be done for appearing in 2 nd mates exam.

LIFE IN HIMT COLLEGE

Placement Experience:

I am placed in MOLMI. And sincerely thank HIMT for the placement. The other companies who Recruits cadets from HIMT are Zodiac, MOLTA, Sanmar, Genco, Ozler ONE shipping etc . HIMT have good placement records of 100%, if you have no arrears then for sure will get placed

This is the best college overall

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Remarks:

I got this college through Mci. The campus was beautiful also after asking to the students over there I got to know that the whole course will be in English so no issue of language in teaching and also the teachers are friendly and supporting and there is no ragging in the campus.

Bachelor's degree in science.The application fees for admission is just Rs 200. Students can easily pay there fees by online method or through NEFT.
