One of the best colleges

My senior suggested this college and I checked the academic and placements in Google, it's quite good .at the same time it is under Kanchi Kama Koti peetam so discipline will be maintained .when it comes to my department ( mechanical ) faculty is really awesome and experienced. labs are also good and up to my imagination. the library is one of the main attractions of this college with a huge volume of books and material.

From childhood onwards, I have a great passion for automobiles and heavy machinery so automatically I choose mechanical. In our faculty in mechanical is really experienced and friendly .when it comes to faculty-student ratio it is approximately 1:20. Almost all the faculties had PhD degrees and really great experience in the teaching field. If you attend the classes regularly and have a little bit of Concentration towards the classes will easily lead you to get pass marks.If you need to score good then visiting the library is a must thing.

Internships are quite good at our college. faculty members have great connections with companies so they can easily provide you some awesome internships. I too got my internship in Delphitvs .when it comes to the topic of the project I did my project in vapor compression refrigeration system.projects are quite good and have for students to select their own.

Normally from the final year onwards, students are eligible for campus placements but in rare situations 3rd years also eligible for Placement. campus placements will be good for CSE and its departments. companies like cognizant, cap Gemini, works boat visit the campus regularly. normally more than 50 percent of the students get placed in the campus itself .my aim is to work in PSU s or government departments, so I am preparing for the gate now.

The fee is nominal when compared to remaining Universities in and around Chennai. It's affordable only for the middle class too and the fees hike is also low when compared to other colleges. the scholarship will be there for first years based on intermediate marks or entrance test rank. From the second year onwards for getting the scholarship, you need to maintain a minimum of 8 + CGPA and attendance of 75 percent. Placements will be good for software and it sectors .for mechanical you need to put more effort and chances will be less.

Every University had their own fests so ours too .our college fest name is " TARUNYAM" and happens in the month of March or April. Our college had one of the best libraries in Tamil Nadu ,we have a large number of books and e material to study and to refer too.when it comes to sports SPARDHA is the name of college sports fest contains so many indoor and outdoor games .

The hostel facilities are extremely good with space and well-vetilated rooms, hostel grounds are also good .when it comes to mess well you may not be satisfied but you can't expect more than that in hostels .so after few days you may get the habit to it. If you want to go for outside room so many options are there for you like Balu gardens, Sankara colony, Indra Nagar

We didn't have any interview or group discussion for admission but a common entrance test will be there .it's syllabus is almost same like EAMCET and mainly from intermediate only .it's standard is also when compared to remaining entrance tests
