Remarks

College management is bit slow in everything except for taking fees. If you want something you have to roam 5-10 times in management section to get even 1 certificate or any other document. Management system is quite average in lachoo college

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Exams are on semester basis. Every week they conduct sessional exams and after two round if sessional exams of all subject they conduct the final exam. With regular exposure to exams it helped me getting out the fear of exams and in this way it helped me a lot. There is also a rule if industrial training for industry based education but there is less campus placement in lachoo college. After 6 sem industrial visit us mandatory for all pharmacy students.

Placement Experience

2

Only 1-2 company visit in the name of placement such as Johnson and jhonsons. and other few for pharma course. They take interview of students and on basis of it recruit the eligible students for their company. 1-2 students are only placed through college placement. Yeah college faculties somehow train students for placement sessions.

College Events

3

National pharmacy week is celebrate every year. Two sports tournament are held every year.Cultural activities are also organized per year.

Fee Structure And Facilities

47000 per semester or 94000 per year (plus extra fees) is quite expensive for students like us belonging from middle class family. Along with fees there are extra expenses also which make it not feasible for all students. Hence in my opinion fir course like pharmacy around 1 lakh per year ( fees plus extra expenses) is quite expensive.

Fees and Financial Aid

No I didn't get any scholarship or education loan but yes if you're GPAT qualified you can get scholarship both from government and college of upto 12,400 per month.

Campus Life

2.5

Gender ratio is nearly about 15 girls per 40 boys 15:40. Students fairwell party is organized in college every year ony for 3rd and 4th years students. There is no discrimination based on caste, gender, economic status, race etc. But yeah due to competition there is so much politics between students to pull other one down like crabs. Labs are compulsory in pharmacy course so hence they are maintained as per standards. Sports tournament are organized every year both inter and intra college tournaments are held. Cultural activities like mehandi, rangoli, debates, quiz, seminars are also held at regular intervals and there is quite good competition also

Alumni/Alumna

Senior are helpful in certain areas only. They are not exactly as much helpful but if you ask them they are kind enough to guide you otherwise they don't care for anything about juniors.

Admission

By class 12 marks, merit list was prepared. I chose this college due to it's extreme reputation in jodhpur and in Rajasthan in terms of pharmacy subject. You have to fill the entrance form along with class 12 marksheet. And other official documents they can demand such as adhar card, 10 marksheet etc.

Faculty

3.5

All the faculties are highly educated and well trained. They all are helpful and some are good mentor also. But they focus more on completing course rather than imparting education and knowledge in students. This is the area where my college lacks. Faculties provides notes at regular interval and regular classes and labs are also there.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I was interested in medical science although I wanted to become a doctor I didn't pass NEET so I choose to go with pharmacy. The faculty of pharmacy is highly qualified and has friendly behavior towards students. They are always ready to help each student. The teachers have masters and Ph.D. in their respective subjects and have good knowledge. There are 2 sessional exams in one semester and each student has to be present during the exam as this is an important exam as it is used for internal assessment. The exams are conducted every 3 months and the question paper was quite difficult as semester exams.
