My Review

College is well managed under the health Sciences faculty headed by Dr. Rajiv.

Course curriculum was all set by the Indian nursing council and exam was conducted by SIU as it was a deemed university. The experience I had from the college have helped me a lot from changing my personality and knowledge towards the nursing practice to aid me to secure on campus and off campus placements.

Symbiosis do provide campus placements to all the students who are interested to participate. Before the placements we even had class regarding how to prepare ourselves for interview. Hospital like Hinduja (Mumbai), Asian heart ( Mumbai) usually conduct on campus interview and provide nice packages.

Symbiosis celebrate all cultural programs without considering color, caste or religion. They celebrate all cultural program like onam, Christmas, diwali, Ed, etc. Even they celebrate nurses day and conduct various program to nuture our special talents and make us feel we are one.

Course fee is feasible but hostel fee is little expensive. So we stayed in shared rental home which is nearby the college. They accept IMPS transfer as well as challan payment. If you have cash don't worry the bank is just opposite to college. Take challan from office and deposit money in bank.

College do offer scholarship for girls with merit through leela poonawala foundation. They provide full tution fee until you graduate from college. Only criteria was to maintain sufficient marks throughout the years.

Vasudeva kudumbakam is the main theme of the college. Everyone is treated with equal respect. We had foreign students in our campus and had an interesting campus life understanding each other's culture. College also conducted several workshops and international, national level conferences and even gave us chance to be delegates. The campus have zero tolerance to raging and also have an active anti raging committee. The campus is safe and friendly.

Hostel fee was little expensive. So we stayed in shared rental home which is nearby the college (Gokhale nagar). GN is famous for rental homes and PG's so you will not find difficulty in finding rooms there. The place is student friendly and safe as almost all students from nearby colleges stays here.

We had alumni meet every year on the graduation day were seniors come to share their experiences and guide us to become successful in our career.

My dream was to become a military nurse which my parents never agreed to. So finally they gave permission to pursue nursing but not military. And I applied and got selected in my hometown on merit basis but was not convinced with my future career after graduation from there. At last my family friend who did MBA from SYMBIOSIS shared me a brochure of there nursing college. I was driven by the facility and placement provided by the college, which forced me to send an application for admission in Symbiosis. Soon after, I got intimation regarding an entrance exam, interview and scholarship for girls with merit.

Every faculty of Symbiosis is well trained and knowledgeable. Most of the faculties are doctorate holders and helps the students to be confident of themselves and deliver their full potential. They even has a wide infield experience which they impart to us throughout our clinical postings.
