My College

Management done everything to satisfy our needs and wants. Recently NAAC committee visited our college and gave A+ grade.

Curriculum is full and full related with subject. The teaching method adopted by staffs is the most important thing. They explain everything along with practical knowledge and experience gained by them. We went for industrial visit to understand the working of big industries.

Many companies were came for placement in our college. Mostly 90% of our students were placed. Our students were working in TCS, CTS and in Wipro too. Mainly they carry out the recruitment process in three steps such as written test, group discussion and personal interview.

Onam celebration, Pooja celebration, Pongal celebration, Sports day celebration, Founders day celebration, Book Fairs, Department function, Independence day celebration, Republic day celebration, Sales day celebration, Every function is celebrated with full and full enjoyment.

For every semester we pay fee. I pay five thousand per semester. Affordable fees. In case of undergraduation there will be a need to pay nine thousand per semester. Many students from rural areas having poor background also studying in our college. Only semester fee is charged not other than that.

I got scholarship in my undergraduate B. Com every year. Through my college I got it. They offer periodical forms for obtaining scholarship money.

Being a women's college we are not supposed to face any tolerance regards gender. Among us also we didn't face any student diversity, race and religious problems. Laboratoriea are in good quality enough. Our college hockey team and badminton team done many achievements too.

As I am a day scholar, I am not fully know about hostel life. But I know something about it. As my friends are in hostel they say about it. In a room there were three or four members. Everybody have individual cot. Mess facility also good.

An alumni of our college came to our college and give a speech among us. We really pride to see our alumni as a successful person in her personal life as well as in business life. Many of our alumni provide fund to our college for helping financially weaker students.

My parents found Sri GVG Visalakshi College for Women a better option in my location. Being a women's college it has its own heritage, culture and discipline. There were group of staffs guided me while admission. As per merit list admission process were carried out.

In my department there were 10 staffs. They did M. Com, M. Phill and Ph. D. All are very experienced. They taught everything along with their experience. The way they explaining is completely understandable. The class is fully carried out with interaction and discussion.
