Remarks

College overall is good in terms of curriculum and other prominent activities concerned with gromming ones career but opportunity like internship, industrial visit and campus placement are not upto the level of high end colleges which should be improved.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Curriculum wise, the education given is good and based on students approach. The basics thought here related to main subjects are appreciatable. Theoretically and subject wise it's concept are well tought. To be a professional one should have the basics strong so it really helped me. But we didn't get opportunity to visit industrial visit which is disadvantage. When it comes to campus placement major companies came to our college are bpos so I didn't apply for it. Again this is also one of the biggest disadvantage in our college but they trained how to appear infront of interviewer and face it successfully.

College Events

3.5

Annual day is celebrated as anjali fest where any prominent person who has achieved in many fields are invited as special guests example being actor punith raj Kumar came once, chief justice santhosh hegde came as guest next year and yuva events which comprises both technical and non technical events. Technical being debates, speeches etc and nin technical being sports events which comprises almost all popular games.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee Structure is good and touchable for middle class families. PRE University fees being 25000 and for degree ie. Graduation it was ?30000 pa which is was not at all expensive. Apart from college fee additional fees was exam application fees which depends on University notification and library usage fee which defers among students usage. Fee was transparent enough. Only opportunity given was allowing students to pay fee in installments.

Fees and Financial Aid

No opportunity of scholarship and education loan was granted from college side as it's feasible fee structure for public. there was no question of loan and scholarship.

Campus Life

4.5

College life is golden life which cannot be replicated by any. Campus Life was awesome. As it was located in center area of Bangalore it had all facilities. Boys numbers was slightly more than girls. In terms of ratio it would be 1. 3:1. As mentioned above event called yuva is conducted every year where sports and cultural activities with technical competition like debates and all were conducted. There was no opportunity for politics or sexual orientations being conducted. Almost all categories of students be it caste wise, state wise were selected. only criteria for being selected is securing good percentage. There was no relaxation in fees or other economic status cross checks. Only opportunity given was allowing students to pay fee in installments.

Hostel Facilities

1.5

No there was no hostel facility provided by our college. As it's college located in prime place of city no such facility is provided. And most of non engineering colleges in Bangalore provide such hostel facility.

Alumni/Alumna

College recently completed 55 years. On completion of 50 years our honourable ex President Dr A P J Abdul Kalam was invited as guest. Where all the senior students were invited and even I participated as gesture of memory. It was helpful in meeting our old friends.

Admission

After SSLC results announced. Took application which is meant for non management students. Where there will be three rounds based on percentage secured students will be selected by college. As per my percentage got my name listed in second round of selection for commerce, basm combination (basic maths, accounts, statistics and economics) and got admitted to college on 16th June 2014 and continued the same college for bcom graduation also.

Faculty

4.5

Faculties were good. To mention few among them. Dr. Sesha murthy who has written PRE UNIVERSITY level accounts text book with Dr T V Raju, who our accounts teacher. Many others were doctorates, Post graduates and some young lecturers were partly working in corporates and experienced in corporate company like EY, DELOITTE and Infosys. Age wise they were senior citizens also and of early 30s so the mixture of all ages were blended. Conceptually they were good enough to making us understand. It's a reputed of more than 50 years.
