Remarks

No bad review of this college as this is a eco friendly college.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The syllabus for a particular course describes the topics and concepts to be covered while preparing for the examinations for that particular course. A syllabus also mentions the weightage allotted to different units and chapters knowing which you may form a strategy on how to prepare for chapters with high or low weighatge. Question paper design/format is also explained in a syllabus which lets students know about the type of questions asked and various sections employed in the exam papers. It also gives an idea about the marks distribution in the paper.

Placement Experience

3.5

The ambience was good and the students were friendly. During the period College gained the A accreditation From NAAC. Nearly 70% of students got placed and top companies were CTS and Sutherland. As developer and testers were recruited and also voice and non-voice roles offered. The highest was around 5LPA and the lowest around 3LPA. All from our course got an internship in Civil construction companies.

College Events

5

National level technical symposium, Technical events, non technical events, spardha, tarunyam, Cultural fests, face cultural event, byjus seminar, physics seminar, engineering seminar, Workshop, Hands on workshop, Celebrating Pongal, the harvest festival, in college campuses brings together students and also provides an opportunity the students to learn more about Tamil culture. The same holds good for Onam, Christmas, and other festivals that are celebrated in campuses.

Fee Structure And Facilities

There is no donation in this college. Its feasible for this course. Fees -Fee structure is feasible according to me. The fee structure for all the course in this college is approximately 2-3 lakhs for the entire course. Students can pay their fees in instalments for per year. Depending on the other facilities provided by the college the fee is feasible and not at all expensive.

Fees and Financial Aid

I availed scholarship but no education loan. I scored above 75% in 12th standard. So they discounted 25% of course fee.

Campus Life

5

Your first year of college presents a lot of new experiences: living away from home, meeting new people and managing your own time. Prepare for life on campus by figuring out what to bring, how to handle challenging circumstances and what you can do to manage your workload. Healthy competition inspires kids to do their best – not just good enough. When students compete they will become more inquisitive, research independently, and learn to work with others. They will strive to do more than is required. These abilities prepare children for future situations of all kinds.

Hostel Facilities

4

No Iam a Local Student. So im not opted for hostel. Each hostel also has a Hostel Council which is an advisory body comprising the Warden of the Hostel (as its Chairman), the Asst. Warden and the elected student secretaries as its members. The Hostel Council plans the students' activities for the year, prepares the budget for sports, recreational and other social activities of the students through the respective student secretaries and is responsible for the running of individual messes with the help of the mess committee.

Alumni/Alumna

Creating an engaged, supportive alumni network is crucial to an institution’s success. If communication stops once graduates leave an institution, their understanding of the university will become stale. Instead, they should be kept informed so they can remain engaged and keep abreast on the progress of the university.

Admission

I Got seats based on my percentage of my 12th standard exam. Institution is friendly and greeny environment. And placement and locality that made me to choose me this institution. There are sevaral scholarship given based on your 12th mark. Upto 25%, 50%.

Faculty

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

Chennai Institute of Technology is an instituition that truly prioritizes student career growth . The placement cell is exceptionallu well-organized ,consistently connecting students with reputed companies across various industries. What makes CIT stood out is the quality of its training staff. They focus heavily on communication , technical knowledge and competitive preparation ,align students with what top companies expect ,and contiuosly push us to improve and meet industry standards. Their structured training helped me to clearly identify my strengths and work on my weak areas, which made a huge difference during interviews and boosted my overall confidence. The department faculty are equally commnedable ,knowledgable ,approachable and genuinely invested in student career. Overall CIT is an excellent choice for anyone focused on building a strong and sucessful career
