Remarks
Management is really good and quite experienced. All the faculty members were quite knowledgeable and easily approachable.
Course Curriculum Overview
As I was from the very first batch of B.sc I.T. so the facilities were not that advanced to get the hands on experience required but I am pretty sure that there must be advancements in terms of technology. I do remember that the college did organise for campus placements and few classmates were selected for companies like Infosys
Placement Experience
Infosys, Tech Mahindra, The recruitment process started with a questionnaire which has aptitude questions followed by an F2F interview and then a round of interview with HR
College Events
Youth Festival which used to happen in every 4 years in which several colleges used to participate in singing, dance and other extra curricular activities. Apart for that, an annual function, blood donation camps, NCC camps, Food festivals, Talent hunts
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee is quite economic and the college provides the complete breakdown of fee structure. One has to pay a nominal admission fee followed by monthly tuition fee which was also quite economic. Apart from that, there used to a fine in case of short attendance
Fees and Financial Aid
I didn't opt for any education loan or scholarship. The fee itself was quite nominal and tuition fee
Campus Life
The gender ratio was approx 60:40 (M:F) In that year, there were no such labs equipped with robotics technology. There might be a huge change after so many years and there must be a lot many curricular activities at the moment. It might be highlighted on college's website
Alumni/Alumna
Since our batch was the first batch enrolled for B.sc IT so there were not really any seniors. However, we are now the most senior for that batch and are easily approachable through social media by our juniors
Admission
I went to get admission in BCA and while taking admission, I was introduced to IT head of department who encouraged me to go for B.sc (I.T.) for even better career opportunities. I took admission in 2009 and the admission process starts in the month of May and at that time, there was no entrance in place to take admission and it was basis on the scores in 12th Standard. Our's batch was the first batch for B.sc I.T.
Faculty
There used to be 3 lectures of 45 mins each in a day followed by practicals twice or thrice a week for 2 hrs. At that time, the lecture didn't have any discussions which are going to be helpful during interviews however the practical knowledge during practical could have proved helpful for those who got in to developer field and has to write a code.
