Remarks

Subject wise Vikas college is very good because of faculty.But placements are not upto the mark

Course Curriculum Overview

This was the good college for subject wise. Every faculty completes course curriculum with in time. So there isn't any problem in couse curriculum or completion of the syllabus in time.But it has very less placements.so it is the biggest drawback.

Placements are biggest drawback in Vikas college of engineering and technology. All companies which are coming for our college is call centre or bpo based companies. No software or core side companies are coming to this college.

College Events

We celebrated every events in our college like engineering day, annual day, freshers day, farewell day. College also conducts tech fest in every year which is very good for students.any one can come visit and participate our college during tech fest.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The basic fee of the college is 30000 per year and if you have fee reimbursement you don't need to pay the fee. You should pay only 5000 for the year and exam fee for the every semester. You should pay the exam fee within time because if you didn't pay exam fee you didn't get hall ticket

Fees and Financial Aid

College offers fee reimbursement from Andhra Pradesh government. So everyone has got the fee reimbursement from Andhra Pradesh government who has income certificate with Annual Salary of less than 60000.

Campus Life

Campus Life was good.there is no biasedness in gender wise. Everyone is equal in college. College has ground. We can play cricket and also has a volleyball court.I didn't see any politics in college and also no differences in relegion, sex or other things.

Alumni/Alumna

We had a good interaction with our seniors and they are also very friendly with us. They are very helpful.

Admission

I like electronics that's why I choose electronics and communication engineering. This college is in forest hill area. So why get natural air and it is very silent place, so everyone has concentration on reading. Got some rank in eamcet and get this college in councelling and joined college with certificates.

Faculty

4.5

Faculty was good and they know very well what they are teaching. All faculties are having M.Tech Specialisation certificates. So they all are very experienced persons. They cleared doubts of subject in all students. Faculty are very friendly with students. So it's the biggest plus.

Placement Experience:

-The placements are decreasing year by year, from the the time I joined the placements have vastly decreased and some companies have also stopped coming due to their pool period. -Students are eligible form 6th semester but for my juniors the management is avaling it from 5th semester only. -The componies visited are: INFOSYS COGNIZANT JUSPAY Till now many college might follow. -Highest package is 21lpa which is offered by INFOSYS for specialist programmer. -The number of offer made are around 200 upon my latest knowledge. -Upon my latest knowledge around 60% of students are bring placed through placements. -I am already placed in INFOSYS which is a girls pool selection held in kakinada Aditya University around a month ago. -If no campus placement is offered, some students are currently trying for off-campus jobs across various platforms like linkedin and other official sites, and some students are thinking of pursuing M.Tech for higheer degree in other universities.

Applied through ecet -2013 year. No reservation quota for my category. But availed fee reimbursement due to ration card. As this was developing college people with huge ranks also got admission.
