A great college with decent location

This college is one of the renowned and best college of Haryana. Only bad point of this college is its location. But this is overshadowed by good college campus and atmosphere. This makes sure that your college experience is one of the best of your life. The students are from all neighboring states and this ensures the diversification.

I took IIT JEE(now JEE mains) to get admission in this college. This college is one of the best engineering college in Haryana. This college has almost all popular branches one can opt. So, it provides to have you a good choice and great diversity.

The course curriculum in this college is adopted from Kurukshetra University. It strictly follows all the guidelines of Kurukshetra University. One can opt his/her courses according to their choice. But most of the subjects will be compulsory and there will be no choice.

This college doesn't provide any internship itself in the college. But they give some recommendations for the internship. Many companies and training institutes visit this college often and give offers to students regarding internships and trainings.

The placement is decent in this college. Some of the major companies that visit this campus are TCS, Libsys, MIcrosoft, Wipro, Naukri.com, McDonalds, SAP etc. The Institute is well equipped with Qualified Staff, Workshops & Laboratories, a fully Computerized Modern Library, a State-of- Art Information Technology infrastructure including over 850 computer systems backed up with licensed software for all curriculum and training needs including high speed internet facility.

This college celebrates many events in this college and some other colleges too. Some of the events are as follows Annual Cultural Fest, Blood Donation Camp, Cultural Fest of each department, Technical Fest of each department, Annual Sports Week.

College offers scholarship to girls students and backward class students. This scholarship can be availed at the time of admission by filling the form and by attaching proof. The scholarship is given by college, AICTE, Haryana government.

Senior students frequently visit the college. Some students are placed by companies and they came back representing their companies for placement, workshops, debates, etc. This college is also working with some other colleges for research and academic purposes which itself is great. Some great lecturers visit the college to tell about different topics.

As this college is an engineering college, so there are 8 semesters in the degree. Each semester consists of 3 sessionals for each subject which are of 40 marks, and final exams at the end of semester. Sessionals are conducted by college and final exams are conducted by Kurukshetra University. The finals are of 100 marks and passing marks are 40.

The faculty is what this college is famous for. It has very experienced faculty and more than 10% faculty has Doctorate degree. The faculty is very co-operative and friendly. Some faculty members resides in the college campus.
