The college is located a bit away from the main city the area covered by college is also very less yet life at MNM is like any other engineering college which is awesome.

I took three entrance exams, IITJEE - 1,20,000 rank, VITEEE - 70.000 rank, SRMEEE - 20,000 rank i basically did not score well in all the three tests that i took so i ultimately resorted to join a college where i can get admission without paying any donation that's how i joined MNM.

I received the course materials from the college my college is aflitiated to anna university so it follows the standard course setup by them but i feel that the syllabbus is not the latest as compared to other universities but research is surely promoted in my college.

Internship is provided in my college to get the stipend, we need to have a minimum academic score my college actively promotes the students to take part in various competitions i got my internship at bsnl, chennai it was a very great experience i was provided with a stipend of rs. 3000 the internship lasted for three days and i also received a certificate at the end.

The placement that was recorded last year was around 78% overall for my department it was around 90% around 15 top companies took part in the placement sessions the starting packages that were offered here were as high as rs 6 lacs and the minimum packages was rs 2.5 lacs, infosys, cts, tcs were the top companies that came here.

The events that take place in my college can split into three categories as follows a culturals festivals, technicals festivalsc, sports festivals there are national level participants for all the events the culturals are conducted in february every year the technical fests are held in october.

The fees is whats i can say is a very important factor in deciding a college as i got admission through the special quotas i got a scholarship of rs 25000 and so my fees was around 70-80 thousands i feel that this fees is quite affordable for many students.

There a few scholarship facilities available in my college the are various trusts offering scholarships like, jains india trust, jito etc student loan facility is also available here.

Campus life MNM is awesome though there are some strict rules here yet we enjoy the college and classes the gender ratio here is about 3:1 for male:female the are students coming from as far as andaman and nicobar the students are actively allowed to participate in the various sports and other competitions.

I am a day scholar here my friends who stay in hostel say that they don't get good food moreover they also say that the rooms are ok there are frequent electricity cuts the hostel fees is rs 60000 yearly there are many pg available here most of my friends have shifted to pg due to bad hostel facility.

Alumni networks are of great help at the time of placement they can easily help us network with people at greater positions.my seniors are also very helpful they always encourage us to get ahead with research.

The only thing i had complaint about was the way the exams were held the exams were held frequently thus we didnot have much time for other activities yet we got practised to this type of schedule and now it is easy to go labs are also scheduled neatly there are two lab classes in a week.

My department has 20 faculty members 5 of them are Ph.D, other are either ME or pursuing phd we can access the faculty member in the college daily sometimes they even wait after the college hours to clarify the doubts of the students they are very inspiring and encouraging many research papers have been published by them.
