Remarks

Very few colleges in India or even in Tamlinadu or any other state had mechatronics engineering and this college had mechatronics engineering. This was the only course i was intrested in and hence chose this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

1.5

Pretty basic. Though the college had all the facilities on paper, very few were actually seen to the naked eye. A big ground but barely maintained. Big sized laboratries but hardly experiments done from time to time.

Placement Experience

0.5

Ridiculous might be one of the words to describe the placements and job opportunities as rarely do good companies visit this college and and the ones that do provide a meagre salary of maybe 9k a month to make the students work long hours.

College Events

0.5

Seminars used to happen from time to time and few intra college activites such as some coding or making things and extempore competition but bothing at any grand scale that would leave a mark to remember anything by.

Fees and Financial Aid

Loans are normally offered by the banks to students who take admission just like it is provided everywhere else. Scholarships are mainly given out to students who are domivile of the said state and for this case, it was the students of Tamilnadu. They were given scholarships based on their academic performance.

Campus Life

3

Infrastructure wise the campus was huge. Huge campus. Huge field, huge class rooms, huge college building itself. A well decent or say big sized canteen. Hostels were also huge with pretty big rooms.

Hostel Facilities

4

I fif not opt for hostel but i heard stories that the rooms were quiet big and spacious and everyone had their personal cupboards to store their personal belonging. Bathroom was common but the size was big so people did not have to worry about using any of the facilities.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

Placement Experience:

Chennai Institute of Technology is an instituition that truly prioritizes student career growth . The placement cell is exceptionallu well-organized ,consistently connecting students with reputed companies across various industries. What makes CIT stood out is the quality of its training staff. They focus heavily on communication , technical knowledge and competitive preparation ,align students with what top companies expect ,and contiuosly push us to improve and meet industry standards. Their structured training helped me to clearly identify my strengths and work on my weak areas, which made a huge difference during interviews and boosted my overall confidence. The department faculty are equally commnedable ,knowledgable ,approachable and genuinely invested in student career. Overall CIT is an excellent choice for anyone focused on building a strong and sucessful career
