Tamil Nadu Engineering Common Entrance Examination is the test which we have undergone during the screening process based upon the rankings we were able to choose the colleges listed during the counselling .But now the screening is based upon the points calculated on HSC marks.
Internships Opportunities
Students has to find their own internship companies ,there were no college initiated internship program. I remember the students who were recruited by infosys have attended the internship program.
Placement Experience
Infosys was the only IT company recruited the people. College arranged AMCAT examed through which many students were employed by HCL ,Mphasis and other MNC's. L&T has conducted the campus recruitment for the core and many other organizations fairly visited the campus for conducting the interviews.
Fee Structure And Facilities
According to the government structure it was around 45000 INR per year .But the management made transportation ,Education materials compulsory during the first year so which shooted around 80000 INR later the cost was around 60000 INR for the next three years.
Fees and Financial Aid
I remember my friends getting scholarships from the government. But staffs in accounts department create much fuss on processing it. No Loan facility from the college to the deserving students. One of my friend was squeezed to pay fees before Semester examination or else he would have been prevented taking his examination.
Alumni/Alumna
I don't remember getting any alumni meet invitation though we have paid an amount of 1000 INR during the FINAL year .We all people have organized a group in Facebook and Gmail where we share our happy moments and our updates .
