Course Curriculum Overview
As it directly comes under Himachal Pradesh University, so course curriculum follow the national standard. Now a days Exam is semester based. when we are doing our degree at that time it is year based. Yeah it is relevant &fair. Yes there is big concern is about staff strength posted in college, in our time only 1/3 staff strength is available. So it is big concern for those who didn't study self. Because you have to complete your syllabus on own risk.
Placement Experience
Sidharth degree college provided the opportunity to do your degree in Arts or science stream. tentative percentage of students placement is not there.
College Events
Sports meet Annual function Cultural day, I miss the name In a sports meet college are organised it in near by stadium which is around 3 km from there, all the events of athletes are conducted in it. Beside all we have college teams of weight lifting, cricket, judo, women hockey.
Fee Structure And Facilities
As it is govt college the fee is very less, so it is feasible for all. I remembered that I have paid around 10 to 12 thousands for my complete B. sc degree (at year 2006-2009). At that time we paid all our fee by cash/we can directly deposited it through bank.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes college offer scholarship opportunities to the students. For this you have to got 80% marks in your exam.
Campus Life
In our science stream we have class of 90 students, out of 90 around 60 are the girls. So simply say that we more girls ratio are there. As I mentioned above sports competition are held all the year if your are sportsmen then you get enough time and opportunities to fulfill your dream.
Alumni/Alumna
My experience with my college seniors and interaction I have had with your alumni has affected me a lot. Our seniors are very helpful and jolly nature. Whenever I seeking help of my senior they were always there for me.
Admission
At that time when I was seeking to admission in B.Sc. As Sidharth degree college is government college which comes under Himachal Pradesh University. Doing any degree is much cheaper than any private institution's & moreover teaching staff having most of work experience & process quality so I choosen it first of all I fill the form & they called me on a particular date for further processing, they saw my all concerned certificate. After all, paying my first year admission fee I got admission.
