Good college in Coimbatore

It's pretty much good. If you want to join a college which helps us to explore the our skills and knowledge at affordable fees. Then it's for you.

Anna university syllabus is very much good. But examination and evaluation of papers is worst. Professors are well groomed in knowledge and personality. They got enough exposure and they arrange well planned industrial visits and allow us to organize these kind of events too.

Placement is good compared to most of the colleges. But not the best. It still can be improved. I got placed in my first interview. But their placement policy worst. As per the policy if we get placed in one company we are no longer eligible to attend another interview. If I get selected for 2lpa then even a company comes for 10lpa I can't attend. That thing should be corrected.

Annual day, technical symposium, project presentation, hostel day, sports day, onam, pongal and science day are the common events celebrated at the college. They allow us to know ourselves and explore our skills. It helps us to enhance our skills and improve it day by day.

My course fees structure is decided by anna university because of government quota. My fees per year is 60000 rs. Other fees like bus, exam fee, value added program fees also collected. They are transparent and they do provide receipt. Total fees per year will be around 1 lakh rupees.

I have availed merit scholarship of 25% because of my marks in +2 exams. They also provide scholarship for sports quota too. If you are national level player then 100% scholarship. State level 50% scholarship. District level 25% scholarship. Merit scholarship is tentative as number of seats are restricted.

My college life is good. Gender ratio is different in various departments. In mechanical it is around 1: 100 and in Computer science engineering 10:1( women : men). Labs here is fill of necessary equipment and in good shape. They are mostly secular and we don't follow only one religion. They allow us to participate in inter College competitions by providing on duty too.

No. I am a day scholar. Because my house is around 20km away from college. I travel in bus and my bike. I haven't opted for college bus too. But I know that hostel here is good and rooms are cleaned regularly. Food here is very good.

They do have alumi network. But it's mostly comprises of best students of they course. They should include everyone. That's my opinion. They arrange meeting of current students with alumni to share experiences. That is helpful too.

I completed 12th board examinations in 2015 and applied for anna university counseling. There I filtered colleges suitable for my interest. This was one among them. I selected this college in counseling at anna university. I joined here in government quota.

1 lecturer per 20 students is the standard as per anna university and pretty much all 500+ colleges affiliated to it follows that. They are from different kind of expertise and experience so they are capable of teaching us in best of their knowledge.
