Course Curriculum Overview

The syllabus enables us to learn all aspects of the course with the help of study materials. It is provided to all the students during the time of admission. Our semester exam dates will be announced at the end of curriculum and the results will be published punctually.

Placement Experience

The course involves self study that enables the student to gain skills by themselves in the subject. This is really useful while applying for companies for job oppurtunities. UCDL has provided us sufficient training to tackle the questions asked during the interviews and finally land on a job.

Fee Structure And Facilities

For B.Com course, The fee that is charged by UCDL for one year is Rs.4000 only. Thus, for the entire course it is just Rs.12,000 approximately.This fee is very cheap and there is also fee waiver scheme for SC/ST students with poor economical background.

Campus Life

Several inter-university tournaments and national level championships are held in UCDL and winners are awarded with cazh prizes. Educational tours to several places and health camps are also organized by the administration.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel rooms are spacious and has enough amenities to provide us comfortable accomodation. We are provided with quality food and RO water. Also, Table tennis, badminton and volleyball courts are also available in hostels.

Admission

I failed 12th std once and on the second attempt, I passed my board exams. Then, I applied for B.Com course in University Centre for Distance Learning and got admitted to pursue the course of my interest.

Faculty

The professors are very skilled and have sound understanding in the subjects. They motivate us and helps us build a strong knowledge from root level. They make us strong with the fundamental concepts and brings us more interest deep into the subject.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like the business and finance so that's why i choose this field. Somehow this curriculum doesn't prepare me fully for real world but accounting is prepared me for industrial work. In that course college should visit student to company for gaining practical knowledge. Exams is on semester basis or after 5 to 6 months when syllabus of particular semester completed. It is difficult but not like that someone who study got fail.

Both the things be it placements or the internships, they are top class. Since our course was related to Financial Markets, companies like Axis Capital, Reliance Mutual Funds and likewise the companies that deals in security markets were the ones that have us jobs. Average placements of B.Com in Financial Markets were around 5 lakhs.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It's not my my first choice because I was planning for abroad. So there is not any specific aspects to choose this course or college. Now curriculum of changed. And now I feel it's 40 to 50% related but still needs improvement. They should adopt foreign education system and should increase education budget. Exams frequency is 2 times in a year. Level is really easy.
