Remarks
The management has a very huge campus and facilities, They should invest in hiring quality lectures and professors
Entrance Preview
PGCET - The written test was hard to crack but definitely easy compared to CAT or GMAT exams. The admission process was easy and I got admission through Govt Quota based on my scores. I opted to study at East West Institute of Technology because It is quite close to my home and I wanted to save Time taken to Travel.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum was Vast as I was under Visvesvaraya Technological University. I chose Human Resources in my MBA I studied really well to ensure I learned everything in the management area. All the sujects in our MBA- HR was my Favorite I thoroughly enjoyed all the case studies and presentations
Internships Opportunities
I approached companies because my college did not have campus hire for Internship. I completed my Internship at Tele DNA a startup company which were into Telecom products. I did not earn lot of stipend but learnt a lot
Placement Experience
No Campus hire. Ideally my college has pretty much companies mentioned on their brochure but ended up with no campus hiring for MBA folks. Only a partial amount of Engineering folks get placed each year.
College Events
I was the leader for the management events and all conferences that were held in our MBA department. I took active part in organizing the Leadership event. Marketing events and we did have annual cultural festival
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure was feasible because I was under the GOVT quota. because I fall under the General category I always end up paying the highest in the GOVT quota
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes our college gave all the scholarship offered by the local Govt based on the reservation system. I was not eligible for this amount because I fall under the general category. But my friends who fell under the reservation category was pretty happy
Campus Life
We had a very cool campus life. we had a huge football field. Basketball court. and a Indoor games room. I have never stayed at Hostel so not sure about the hostel life, we had a great Diversity ratio, we had students from our sister countries
Hostel Facilities
I have no clue because I never stayed at t he hostel. But I have heard that the food was really of low standards and the fees for the hostel is pretty high
Alumni/Alumna
They had organized alumni meet twice. unfortunately I couldn't attend because I was too busy with my work. Basically our college even collected 525 Rs for the Alumini Fee
Exam Structure
Yes we has frequent Internal exams and semester exams we had a pretty hectic schedule. but I loved my exams and the time we spent in learning our syllabus
Faculty
Faculty standards were not upto the mark to match students caliber to Industry standards. Most of the lecturers were from Tier - 2/3 colleges. Though they gave importance to solve several case studies encouraged us to do presentations and participate in several management events
