I got this college through UPSC counselling and after some research my friends and family members suggested this .

Course Curriculum Overview

We studied building construction, design, vernacular architecture, building services like subjects in this course. The college faculty is awesome and they solve our queries and even give extra lectures. There are workshops on Saturday to practically elaborate the things and College follow the curriculum of AKTU

Course Fees: INR 88000 per year

Internships Opportunities

In 4th year there is an internship of 4-6 months which you can do anywhere you want to explore. The field of choosing our interest is only our own. College faculties who are experienced more than 20 years suggest the firms in different cities and help us to improve our practical knowledge. In 3rd year we study working drawings that clearly give ur practical view of the field and help us to enhance us in our internship period.

Placement Experience

Architecture generally doesn't have campus placement but my seniors are doing well in their professional life as some started their own, and some are working in reputed firms all across the country.

Campus Life

Campus Life is amazing. Seniors are very interactive and they support a lot. Every year annual events organized and some other architectural events too like architecture day, world heritage day, model making competition, and other related to the field. College also has one separate ground where students practically demonstrate art sculptures, construction of arches, and photography skills. Overall campus atmosphere is very good.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel is good according to the fee structure. The mess was hygienic and there are inside TT court and one common room for gathering. There is a different hostel of 1st-year students so to avoid any case of ragging and they can easily interact with their seniors. Wardens and other co- persons are available and there is campus canteen which is open till 8 pm

My experience at faculty of architecture are planning, AKTU

Likes

The campus Is not so large, but still well equipped with all that you need for Studios Library lecture halls
They also have an activity centre, badminton court, table, tennis tables, and a small ground which we play volleyball, Cric
The faculty 2 student ratio is very good of the college

Dislikes

The campus is very And sometimes feels it is too small
The workload, you have to do a lot of work in architecture
75% attendance rule Strict attendance rule

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum mainly focuses on the architectural aspects. They organised yearly trip for bates to visit and see some architecture sites by their self and also the faculty asked students to visit some local sites.

Remarks:

No reason at all. Faculty was nice at first but not anymore. The only good thing maybe it has big gardens. But nothing else at all. Very partial. Attendance is a burden here.

Placement Experience:

All the seniors are well placed in architecture firms across India. Many of them have settled abroad in Dubai and USA. Many are pursuing masters and PhD in IITs and foreign universities. Seniors are getting paid well starting from 40k/month as beginners and up to 1.5 lakhs/month for experienced architects.

Placement Experience:

In Architecture no placement because in Architecture you made your portfolio and via portfolio, your placement will depend. Yes, even my chairman Sir takes always encouraging their students to regard entrepreneurship and startup. Yes, many seniors support their junior for getting placed in reputed firm.

It is a great experience

Remarks:

Canteen should be improved and facility for the hostelers also. Infrastructure also need to improve.Architecture, imagination,new ideas, having fun with friends, taking on events, sports etc. Over all unforgettable time.

Beginning was good faculty was amazing in the recent years but the present scenario is horrible please do not send your ward to this college or any college associated with U.P.T.U, and the director is new jailer these days, seems as it is a college rather than an architecture college.

The college infrastructure is good and the campus is green with a lot of tresses. Mathur's is close to NCR and is a good tourist, religious and cultural place. I am a 4th year student in this college and the reason i choose because i easily found it to be the best in UP state.When i first came here as a noob i had little believe in myself that i could never excel in this field,but the teachers here made me believe in myself and now i believe that i have got a drive and a bright future in this field.The studioculture here is also very profound and the infrastructure equally compliments it.Various trips are also frequently organized by the faculty and students which strengthens the exploration aspect of every student .Diverse functions are also organized routinely for fun,frolic,learning.
