College review

Overall, the college is a great college for itself already being recognized as a top institution for the fashion industry. It allows people of all cultures and traditions to be a part of the entire campus.

The course is extensively designed to prepare students to become great merchandisers. The subjects throughout the course are very related to what we find on the field on a daily basis. We have about 2 labs for every semester that give us great practical knowledge.

Every department in the college has internships and also placement cells. These placement classes usually are companies that are involved in the production sector of garments and famous exporting companies.

Usually, the college celebrates all the major festivals, be it from any cultural background. All the major festivals are celebrated with lots of art related exhibitions. Also, the college allows the students to set up their own fests like good fests, textile expo, etc.

The fee structure of the institution is very well feasible, on being compared with other colleges that offer similar / the same courses. All the departments of study come with an attractive and much feasible fee structure, including hostel fees for students that come from other far off regions.

The college allows the students to approach banks for the provision of educational loan from different banks, it also helps to educate oneself to know about the expenses required for being involved in a student exchange program.

Annual sports meet is held with good male and female participation. Diverse technical and non-technical workshops are conducted throughout the academic year which helps us increase our skills. Students mingle very well as it's a small campus compared to rest.

The hostel facilities are divided into two blocks one exclusively for the girls and the other for the boys. There are several rooms. Usually, in a room it can accommodate a total of 4 people max. It's a great place to make friends that are from various different cultural backgrounds.

The seniors are really helpful in getting comfortable in and around the college and also with the happenings within the college. The alumni students often come to the college to visit their old teachers and tell them about their current work status and update the juniors on various aspects.

I was working in my uncle's office that's in the textile industry, located in tirupur India. I met a staff who's an alumni from the college who told me this is a great college if I'm pursuing a career in the same field.

The faculty in the college are highly experienced and knowledgeable. Most of the staff have been in the textile field for several years and are up-to-date with the current trends. They have several contacts in and out of Tiruppur and also are in touch with big-time businesses.
