About AVCE

The course deals with the designing of electronic circuits, devices and systems using non-linear and active electrical components. The value-added courses help students to gain enormous knowledge on the latest technologies used in the field of Electronics and Communication. The students are also given various real-time Industrial projects and funded projects, which provides them hands-on experience on modern technologies.

The college has a very well set up Department of Placement and Training which offer free training to the students inside the Campus like BEC, TOEFL and Aptitude training. They arrange various training for the first-year students also. Companies like Infosys, Aqua group AECCL provides good placements opportunities to the freshers.

The fees structure is mildly feasible as it is around 2.15 lakhs for four years. It is around 65,000 for the first year and 50,000 for the rest. The hostel and transportation fees are charged separately.

The college organises various extra-curricular activities. The college has NCC, NSS groups. It has well-developed labs. Various societies are present in the college to help students to showcase their talents. Various inter-college competitions are organised by the college authorities.

Separate hostels for boys and girls are situated inside the campus, with three bedded accommodation The hostel is administered by the Principal, and a warden is assigned for the management of the hostel.

I am pursuing BE electronics and communications from AVCE. I got admission to this college through the merit list. The candidates have to fill an online application form for the admission process. Students who have passed the 10+2 examination with an aggregate of atleast 50% or more in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry are eligible for this programme. The admission is made based on TNEA Counselling conducted by Anna University, Chennai.

The college faculty is adequately educated and qualified. They capture the student's interests by making the lectures interesting. The faculty with a plethora of experience gives the student the right kind of guidance.
