Course Curriculum Overview
The course structure is defined in a way that it comprises of how are medicine should be developed keeping in mind the quality and how the production should work. Since the role of the pharmacist is across all areas of medicine, the college concentrates on each micro level details. As the college is affiliated with RGUHS and AICTE and PCI, the exams really mould you to become a top ranking candidate.
Placement Experience
Lots of pharmaceutical companies, government agencies, hospitals and research institutions across India come for campus interviews every year. The basic salary ranges from 25,000 to 30,000 based on your scores during your yearly assessment. Also I heard from one of my friend that in recent days, more abroad opportunities are available.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee is 2,00,000 for all the four years. This was the fees when I studied. This would have got changed during these days. This fees is excluding of hostel, food and transportation. Since I didn't choose hostel facilities, I am not sure about the structure of fee they collect. But I have seen the hostel and the infrastructure is good and food is also decent enough.
Campus Life
The college organises many events like market research, college fest during festivals, business clubs, seminar held by guest doctors and pioneer in pharmaceutical field. They also have international study tour which will give us more information on how pharmaceutical companies operate in other countries and the demand.
Admission
The basic criteria designed for admission is above 40% In Physics PUC in science major. The process was very simple, like after we applied for the course, an appointment date was given for the interviwe. Please make sure you carry all mark sheets and your government ID cards as they are strict in checking the details. The main interview questions will be based on aptitude and logical thinking.
Faculty
Professor and Lectures are very much knowledgeable to make sure that the students understand the critically of the profession. The teach us with more of scenario based questions like the effects of taking wrong medications and their problems. The lab scientists are also very friendly with the students and enages them with practical questions on health benefits of proper proscription of medicine.
