Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

Course curriculum was kind of average, as pedagogy used for teaching was obsolete (no case study, no live project, no brainstorming sessions, there was a subject in 3rd year of our course called Financial management which was not actually finance it was accounts, et al). Also, course curriculum is not that competitive enough with the outer world as a result college is not able to make students industry ready. I am saying this, because there are multiple factors which is adding upto that industry ready thing. Faculties were knowledgeable, but some of them were not able to transfer those to students.

College Events

1.5

Every events the college organized were intra-college, i.e., students from other colleges cannot participate in the same. Non of the events organized would fall under the bracket of technical or management. Most of them were under the bracket of cultural (Savanotsav, Saradotsav, Fresher's, Farewell, Diwali Fest, Annual Events, et al).

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is feasible, fee for my course (for the period of 3 years) was around 60k. However, students need to pay a small amount for registration (only once in 3 years) and exam fee annually.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships awarded to the students is based of caste (which I don't think is good, as they should be awarding it to those who are performing better, or is in need) which was coming from government that's it.

Campus Life

1.5

This college is meant only for female students (irrespective of course i.e. undergraduate, postgraduate), so I would opt not talking on the gender ratio. Student diversity is good enough, they comes from different economic status, ethnicity, religion. Extracurricular activities, event and fests organised were average not that good enough, but yes students interested in NCC & NSS can join these as they can have a better enjoyment.

Hostel Facilities

2

I did not opt for hostel facility (as it wasn't compulsory moreover they don't have enough enough seats to accommodate all students) as I was staying in the same city in which the college is located, but heard from my friends it was average.

Admission

I had appeared for the entrance test, basis which merit list was generated and got selected for this course.

Faculty

3

Most of the facilities were holding a PhD degree in their respective field, and some were Research Scholars. Faculties were knowledgeable, but some of them were not able to transfer those to students.

Placement Experience:

Placement is very high as almost all the students in the third year or the last semester got placed in many multinational companies like wipro, TCS, icici bank, Infosys, etc. 99% of the students got placed and this depends on the students not on the college the student has to pass the entrance test and then interview done by the company and accordingly they got placed. Getting placed in a good multinational company is my aim after getting a degree.
