Entrance Preview

Our college have their own exam. I got 80 percentile in Diploma exam and 70% in Bachelor exam. I was unable to enter directly into B.Pharmacy so I took admission in Diploma as I wanted to pursue my bachelors from the same college through lateral entry directly into 2nd year. I had no doubt of my college as it's part of Delhi university.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

Curriculum was standard as per Delhi pharmacy council. In depth study of basics in first year like anatomy and physiology, pharma chemistry, pharmaceutics, biochemiistry. In 2nd year, it was more of manufacturing medications and industrial training. 500hrs of training as pharmacist in hospital was also compulsory as part of the curriculum.

Placement Experience

5

Reputed companies like Ranbaxy, Evalueserve, Apcer and Apollo hospital. They offered good packages like 2-5lakhs during internship. Apcer took 10 students and offered 2-3 lakhs per annum.Evalueserve took 10 students after taking 5 rounds of interview and offered 3.5 lakhs.Ranbaxy took 5 candidates and offered 3 lambs in R &D.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It's very feasible. It's a government college so nothing to worry. They do provide facilities of scholars and loan services. For diplomacy, 25000 and for graduation it is 40-5000. Sports quota and SC, ST quota fees is very less. People who have cleared GPAT and got good rank, it's almost free.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is lot of opportunities like scholarship to study further in abroad or in India. PhD students get stipend of 25000 and can work as a teacher for diploma courses .Education loans are accessible from our college and they provide all the help required for the same.

Campus Life

5

Sports week includes all activities. Girls were very much interested in giving good competition to boys. We have organize parties in hostel and freshers party in college for the juniors. We do have a cultural events organized by our student party president. There is absolutely no Ragging and biasedness regarding race, religious views or politics.

Hostel Facilities

5

10/10 rating for furniture. Rooms were small n four students used to stay in one room when I was in college but now it's better as they have build 7 floor building for girls and boys separately. Rental was very less as compared to outside. 2000 per month including food.

Alumni/Alumna

It was good. Seniors are very supportive and helpful. There was no ragging case in my college. Alumni is a great place as I made some very good contacts in pharma industry through this. We share our achievements and progression which is very helpful for the new students. We don't have to struggle if we know someone in pharma companies.

Exam Structure

It's Delhi university so the atmosphere is very chilled out but during exams it's hectic as theory and practical exams comes together back to back.

Faculty

Teachers are very experienced and masters of their subjects. They were apt n very friendly. One teacher Mr. Majumdar who is a senior most teacher motivate a lot n help in placements.
