Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course of the college is really up to the mark and a student will meet a busy and productive schedule throughout the year to make a better grip on the subject. A proper conduction of semester examination is taken place. In addition, weekly class tests, PPTs and seminars are also conducted by the teachers.

Placement Experience

4

The placement facility provided by the college is really good. Many companies come every year to hire a bunch of deserving students. Though the salary packages offered by them may not very high. But a student can also get the job they want with the help of the good knowledge and capabilities which is imparted by the college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure for the college is 72,000 in total for the whole 3 years which could be given by the students in 3 parts i.e. 24,000 in each year. As the fee is a little bit high so a student can opt for the educational loan and many deserving students can also get some relaxation in the fee as well.

Campus Life

4

Many activities are being conducted by the college. This includes industrial visits, sports fest, annual fest where student can participate in the different act of singing, dancing, poetry. Formal parties are also orgainised by the college authority in case of the special occassions.

Admission

The admission process of college is really simple. A student has to apply through the online form which is published on the college website every year. Then, on the basis of the merit list, students will get selected. Though the percentage for the merit list goes a little bit high which is to be above 85% every year.

Faculty

4

All the faculty members of the college are cooperative towards the students and a good and elaborated knowledge about every topic is imparted by the teachers. They all are humble and understand the academic problem of the students.

The placement cell in my college is okay they do get few good companies for campus recruitment and they guide us thoroughly how and when we should apply for placement they do conduct some sessions and bring people to guide us with everything. The percentage of students getting placement is 50 or 60 percentage. My plan after degree is to continue pursuing acca and then finding a job abroad

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester. Our college has a dedicated placement department that really guides and supports us through the whole process. Big companies like Deloitte and KPMG visit the campus every year, and since I’m doing B.Com + ACCA, there are plenty of great opportunities in finance and accounting. Last year, around 8 students from the B.Com batch got placed in finance roles. The average package was about ?6 LPA. The best part is that placements keep getting better every year, and the college has maintained a 100% placement record. They’ve even tied up with foreign companies, which opens up more global opportunities for us. After completing my degree, I plan to build a strong career in finance—hopefully starting with a reputed company like Deloitte or KPMG—and later explore opportunities abroad.

Placement Experience:

The college offers placement through the COC (Career Opportunities) cell. Students become eligible for placements by the 5th Semester. The companies which come to hire include the Big 4s, (KPMG, Delloite, EY and BCG), Fedral Bank,TCS, etc. Almost 70% of students opt for higher eduaction so the less number of students get placed at the UG level at least. I am personally figuring out which path to choose but I have placement in mind at the end of the degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My specific aspect of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose the course is the ACCA along with Bcom. Most importantly the 9 paper exemptions provided that gives flexibility in the context of studying. The curriculum is well corporate and real world oriented. They prepare us on how to face the real corporate world through their curriculum by conducting different seminars and workshops.
