Specialised college for Physical education

The structure and syllabus of the course curriculum keeps in mind the requirements of physical education as a discipline in the modern context. The program balances various subdomains of the discipline very well. Examinations are conducted semester wise that is after a gap of 6 months.

Placements and job opportunities are not very good as far as our Institute is concerned. Though the institute provides placement support 9 out of 10 times you have to find a job on your own. Internships are also to be managed by students on their own as it doesn't provide dedicated support for it.

Fee of the institute is less as compared to other private colleges in the domain offering this course. For the complete course duration one has to pay around Rs 44,000 to 45,000. At the start of each academic year the fees required to be submitted.

Educational loans are offered by commercial private and public sector banks like SBI, PNB, Canara Bank etc. Apart from that scholarships are offered by the Tamilnadu state government and the central government through various scheme to the meritorious student on fulfillment of certain eligibility criteria.

Most of the extra curricular activities that the institute offers are centred around sports and physical fitness. Events like inter-state sports competition, athletics meet , etc are conducted from time to time. Based on the assessment of sporting facilities and teaching facilities at offer in our institute I can say that the infrastructure quality is quite good.

Admission to our Institute are done based on direct application. That is by filling in the detailed application form and attaching all the necessary documents along with it. After verification of the application and document the admission is granted to the student.

Teachers in our Institute are thoroughly professional. Many of them have played some or the other sport upto state and national level. Technology knowledge physical education and nutritional Sciences helps we the students to understand things in a broader perspective.
