ZIMA puts a lot of stress on practical training of the students by taking them to the actual locations as well as post production studios, where the shoots are taking place. It goes without saying that the infrastructure and facilities available within the parameters of the ZEE network of channels are tremendous. ZIMA also believes that performing arts are best learnt by doing. Over 75% of the training and education is practical in nature.

4 students got placement offers in my senior and editing batch. Totally 10 students got placed. Practical sessions are held 2 times a week with good equipments. Different roles are offered to the students. Course duration is six months.

The fee structure of the college is extremely affordable and feasible, I feel. It's very economical. The fees are Rs 10,000 per month which makes it to Rs 60,000 on a total for a period of 6 months which is not very expensive

The institute offers training for Autodesk’s Flame Premium software and has been acknowledged as Steinberg Certified Training Centre The institute also organizes film screenings, student films & short films premiers, interactive sessions with film makers.

There is no alumni network or association as such but the seniors are very helpful,cooperative and friendly. They try to help the juniors in every aspect from practicals to books to exam patterns and how to write the exam paper.

There is no such admission process as such. It doesnt has any entrance exam or interview. The institute provides certificate courses so the students can get admitted directly by applying for the course they want to join.

The institute has well-experienced faculties from Institutes like FTII, NID, JMI, and Steinberg. All of them are very well educated and have greater degrees. They are very focussed and are very cooperative and helpful to the students.
