New Horizon is the best academical experience I'm having and will continue to. With excellent trained professionals who guide you in every aspect it is very helpful to see a bright career be it professional practice or post-graduation. Internships provided after the fourth year is very useful for the students, it is indeed a strong foundation for us.

Curriculum as for any medical/dental school is a mixture of practical and theory. Along with that we have an advantage of internship in our final year where we get to learn a lot. There are two exams which are internal and external, which happens once in a year. The scores are crucial for scholarships.

Placements here are secondary, in our final year after the completion of our four years of sheer theory+practical sessions we are given internships to work under a trained class of faculties which is helpful if we are willing to practice after our UG or even pursue our PG. We are paid a decent stipend for the internship period.

We celebrate and take part in multiple cultural events like the annual day and Ganesh Chaturthi, Dance, debates and many such fun competitions are organised by the institute then and now for the students.

The fee structure for UG(BDS) for the whole year is Rs. 2,06,309 and the fees for PG(MDS) is RS. 4,54,062. Which is quite affordable for the students compared to other private institutes. If the student is willing to avail Student loans he/she is very welcomed to do so.

The College / University offers Merit Scholarships to students of excellent academical record. One can register on the official website for scholarships. on fulfilling the criteria he/she will be given a scholarship by the college. Fee concession is possible for students from lower economical backgrounds.

Labs are well-equipped for our much needed practical knowledge, there are about 208 dental chairs for the students to practice, under the guidance of teachers. Various sports events are conducted by the college such as cricket and basketball.

I stay in the campus hostel, the rooms are spacious with all essential commodities. The food here tastes very close to home, we are served vegetarian food in the hostel. When one craves for non-vegetarian food he/she can very well get it from the college canteen. The hostel fee is Rs. 72,000.

"NEET" the mandatory step towards any medical field. I got my admission into New horizon dental institute through the cumulative score of my boards and NEET. The percentile should be a minimum of 50% for the general and a minimum of 40% for the SC/ST category.

The dental faculties here are nothing less than a well qualified dental professional, under whose guidance we also aspire to become one. Teacher to student ratio at the institute is very appreciable. Apart from them, there are few other non-technical staffs that guide you in various other lab activities.
