General degree College in Perambalur

Course curriculum is very well defined and is in line with the nationaly defined guidelines for a business administration course laid down by the University. Exams are conducted in a semester-wise manner that is in a single year 2 semester examinations are conducted, namely the odd and even semester exams. Before the end semester examinations evaluation and testing is done through the assignments and the mid term tests.

Placement rate of our collage is nice and good number of companies visit for the campus placement each year. However many of our seniors have also got good offer through off campus drives. In terms of internship one has to manage on it's own as the colleges does not provides internship. One can easily get internship offers with some effort on their own.

The fee of the college is reasonable as compared to the other private colleges offering this degree course. One has to pay around 1.2 to 1.3 lacs for 3 year program. In the first year I submitted around Rs 40, 000 which included tution fee and other related charges.

The college offers scholarship to the students from reserved category, physically handicapped, those are from military background, students from economically weaker section of society etc. Apart from the college scholarship State Government and the central government also offers scholarship to the students. In terms of educational loan they are available from the private and public sector banks which one can avail by producing the admission letter from the college.

The college has much to offer in terms of extra-curricular activities. The college has NSS, NCC, yoga club, health club, cultural clubs etc through which various activities are organised. Events like dance competition, annual fest, Independence Day celebration etc are organised. In terms of infrastructure I can say that our college is good the classrooms and labs are very well equipped.

I filled in the detailed application form that is available on the college's website and submitted that along with all the necessary documents and challan. After verification of the document and acceptance of the application as granted the admission in the Bachelors of Business administration program. I opted for the college as it is one of the popular college in our area.

Faculty of our college is very experienced and they have in depth knowledge of their respective subject. The great teaching approach where they ask us to understand things such that we hit on the areas of the applicability to the respective subject. Even after that class timings they are happy to help and guide us.
