Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is very well defined and it is in line with the defined parameters for a masters level course in Business Administration. Semester wise pattern of examination is followed. That is two semesters namely the odd semester and even semester are conducted in a year. In between the semester examinations internships, assignments, site visit etc are conducted.
Placement Experience
In terms of placement the college is good and I can say that around 80% to 85% of students get placement offers. However I cannot say that all can get satisfactory placement because each one has his/her own dream job in mind. To explore this off- campus offers are good and many of the seniors in our college have got good offers off campus. In terms of internship one has to manage on its own the college only provides site visits.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Since it is a private Business College the fee can be expected to be on higher side. The fee for the two year program stands at around 8 lacs to 9 lacs rupees. That is in the first year you have to pay around 3 to 4 lakh which includes the tuition fee and other expenses. Since the amount is huge one can look out for financial assistance like the educational loan.
Fees and Financial Aid
The Karnataka state government offers scholarship to the students who are the domicile of the state based on the criteria that either they are from the reserved categories or from the educationally backward classes of the society. The Central government also extend scholarship through the national scholarship portal. Educational loan extended by the private sector banks and public sector banks.
Campus Life
Extra curricular activities in face of workshops, business meets, etc are conducted. Other events like the annual fest, fresher party, Independence Day celebration are also conducted from time to time. Infrastructure wise the college is very good since it is a top b-school in Bengaluru you can expect good quality of infrastructure here.
Admission
I said for the CAT examination and based on the score I forwarded my application for admission in this college. The CAT percentile was not good enough to get me through to the IIMs. Since this was a good college near to my residential area I opted for this one. A short test followed by an interview was conducted. After clearing the test and interview I was granted the admission in the two year MBA program. After that I completed the admission formalities and took the admission.
Faculty
Faculty of the college is very professional and experienced. The faculty has a very good knowledge of the market domain and knows what type of skills are required to sustain in the industry. Keeping that in mind they structurize there pedagogy and make sure that we get the things right there right now in the class without going for any rote learning. Even after the class they are happy to help us.
