Course Curriculum Overview
Bachelor of Pharmacy is a four year course. The B.Pharm course of the University of Mumbai follows a semester pattern and the course comprises of 8 semesters (4 yr). In each semester students have to attend theory classes & practicals prescribed as per the B.Pharm syllabus of the University of Mumbai.
Placement Experience
As per the information gained by me till date, the college doesn't provide any placements or job opportunities for its fellow students There hasn't been any record in the past for such. Only few rank holders do get internships or job opportunities though.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees of this college is 1,30,000. But some of my friends are from Other backward classes - so there is a 50% concession in fee and therefore their total fees with expenses is Rs.78000/-. Also for SC and NT Castes, the fee structure is up to 70-75% concession, which makes the fee of those students within the range of Rs. 25000/- -30000/-.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarships are available mostly for the Scheduled castes, Scheduled tribes and other backward classes. General students don't have the facility of taking a scholarship. However, one can always avail for a loan with the permission of the Principal for the passing of the loan.
Campus Life
The college has well equipped laboratories, class rooms, administrative office and library, common rooms for boys and girls, faculty room, wash rooms, sick room, and play grounds for outdoor games to conduct various extracurricular activities.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels aren't that good in this college. However, it's adjustable. Hostel fees is separate from the course fee and it comes along with food, water and electricity. Not sure about the internet facility as I don't stay in hostel.
Admission
A pass in HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics or Biology and obtained at least 50% is required. Also, should have appeared in all the subject and should obtain non zero score in CET conducted by the Competent Authority.
Faculty
Faculty members are dedicated towards their work of teaching students about the course in details. Private tuitions aren't required , to be honest, as the teachers provide notes and lectures which are very useful for understanding and learning as well.
