Remarks

Positive being during college, the teachers will go out of the way to help a student if he is intrested. Negative being least bothered about the future of students. No proper communication like when to collect the degree and all.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course structure was pretty detailed. College environment stress wise was pretty chilled. Had 3 internals and one external exam every 6 months. There were complete lab with well equipped staffs as well as hardwares.

Placement Experience

0.5

Placement scenes are not that great. The college itself does not provide any internship. For companies coming also are not the great ones and the ones which do are mainly looking for workforce like labourers. People don't have high expectation thourough the placement service offered.

College Events

1.5

Seminars were pretty frequent where many guest lecturers came and was very well organised. The college tries to hold a inter college annual actuvity but it fails miserably. The intra college competition be it sports or in studies are a great hit as there are many participants in it.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is very feasible. Even paying is easy as one can pay semester wise thus lightening the load to pay the fees. Odd semesters would amount to around 45k and even semesters would amount to around 55k. Though exam fees was pretty high.

Fees and Financial Aid

Though i did not get any scolarship but any student who scored really well in board exam were given about 60 percent to 90 percent of scolarship. Major financial institutions also gave loans for studies in this college.

Campus Life

4

Labs are pretty neat with complete equipments. Gender ratio is very poor. No dorm parties ever. No politics is practiced on the campus. Has a good field but not at all taken care of. A small volelyball court and a small basketball court sums it all up. The field is multipurpose, used for football as well as crickey.

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostel facilities were good. One room for 3 people but the only problem was shared bathouroom. Though they cleaned the bathouroom really well but no privacy was offered in the room. Single bed study table and an almirah were provided.

Alumni/Alumna

People just want to complete their course and never look back as college is pretty poor on communication. Even the college is least bothered after a student passes out and they are just trying to get on and complete the course.

Admission

Went directly to the college and enquired about admission. They looked at my marks and said i am eligible for admission. I chose mechatronics as it was a very new and seemed like a happening course in the future and this was one of the few college that offered it.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty of the institution were great. All the teachers had clue about their subject and taught pretty well. The teachers were also qualified very well and they taught with great eagerness and helped out if and any doubts arose.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

Chennai Institute of Technology is an instituition that truly prioritizes student career growth . The placement cell is exceptionallu well-organized ,consistently connecting students with reputed companies across various industries. What makes CIT stood out is the quality of its training staff. They focus heavily on communication , technical knowledge and competitive preparation ,align students with what top companies expect ,and contiuosly push us to improve and meet industry standards. Their structured training helped me to clearly identify my strengths and work on my weak areas, which made a huge difference during interviews and boosted my overall confidence. The department faculty are equally commnedable ,knowledgable ,approachable and genuinely invested in student career. Overall CIT is an excellent choice for anyone focused on building a strong and sucessful career
