Remarks

Overall, my College provides the best of opportunities available in our country. Everything is well organised and systematically looked upon. Students are well taken care of and are provided all the education or any kind of help required to them.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

It is a very good structure for the course. Everything takes place quite systematically. Exams are held as per internals time table for two times. Then preliminary examination occur for the university exam. Then university exam takes place in june. Nothing was hectic as such. The environment was quite chilled out.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placements and jobs are very well taken care of in my College. Internship program is available in the College itself. Students can also do externship programs in other Colleges. Average stipend in our College is about Rs. 1100/- per month. It is quite good for a fresher. Also, job placements are very good.

College Events

5

Every event takes place with a lot of zeal in the College. Ganesh Chaturthi is held with a lot of excitement in the College. Every festival takes place with a lot of enthusiasm and zeal and everybody takes part in various events. Fest happens every year which is an essential event in itself.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is quite simple and it’s divided into 5 years as is the course. Fees per annum is 335000/- for a general category student. I got admission through management quota so my fees is 710000/-. Fees differs for various category people. It is quite feasible according to the course.

Fees and Financial Aid

Various kinds of loan facilities are available in the College. Every major bank has links with the College for loan facilities. People can pay fees flexibly through loans. I myself paid my fees through education loan by my bank.

Campus Life

4

Gender ratio is quite normal as per the course. Female to male ratio is 80 to 20. It’s quite normal according to the course because a huge number of girls opt for dentistry. Though no discrimination or any kinds of offensive behaviour takes place in the College. Everybody has their own peace.

Alumni/Alumna

Our seniors are very helpful in every area of studies as well as related aspects. Whenever we require any help, our seniors are there to help us. Fresher’s party is organised to create a strong bond between the freshers and the 2nd years.

Admission

I passed my NEET-UG examination which is the basic medical entrance test for any College entrance. I got my name in the 3rd state merit list according to my marks in the neet examination. Then i went to the College and asked for the admission process. I filled the admission form and paid the fees for my first year. I chose this course and College because i love dentistry as it directly is a kind of super specialisation.

Faculty

4

Every teacher in my College is very well adversed with their subject of teaching. They are very keen to deliver the best possible knowledge to the students. They help us in all our projects and practicals both in curriculum and extra curriculum too.

Course Curriculum Overview:

BDS is the only degree where you start with specialization. You have a limited part to deal with but has diverse clinical cases. One can easily set up a clinic after BDS unlike MBBS . The course also has the involvement of medical subjects for first two years. Each year has two internal exams , one prelims and then a final university exam

Course Curriculum Overview:

Dentistry is a practical oriented feild that's what influenced me the most. Once your practical skills are well developed you can earn in lakhs. The course so far as provided me with equal opportunities to expose myself to clinical and research work. The internal exams are conducted twice a year with a gap of 2 months and they also conduct a prelim exam 2 months before the main university exam. The course should focus a little bit on the mental health of the students that's the only improvement I would suggest. The exam frequency is good and the difficulty level is high which is understandable because you are preparing to be a doctor.
