State institute of hotel management

The institution as per my review for my review SIHM is the best platform for build our career in hotel industry.

Course Curriculum & Exam Structure is appropriate, relevant, research-driven and fair. It will be helpful to us in grooming and to stand as competent as per industry-specific standard. Industry visits were also arranged to increase our knowledge and to help us face the campus interview.

Many hoteliers come to our college for employment purpose and for interview. There are many properties are came like MARRIOTT, Taj, Oberoi, Novotel etc. Steps are personal interview, group discussion. Almost every year there is 80% of students are placed. Yes, the institute is taking many steps to prepare a student for the placement interview institution is trained the students before the interview.

Ganesh Chaturthi - there is a celebration for ten days as a lord Ganesh come to the family. Janmashtami - we celebrate it Krishna janma and matki for in the college campus. World tourism day - on this day there is many dignities are came to college as for the celebration of world tourism day there are different hotels CEOs, GM's and ministers are coming. Recently we organized MUN in our college.

Fee structure of our college is feasible according to the course and facilities provided. Mode of payment is only digital like RTGS/NEFT or DD, no cash accepted. College is transparent on fees structure. No headen charges except university exam fees.

Yes, the college will offer scholarships to the students. Scholarships offer to the poor students or and scholar students.

If we talk about labs of the college for all sector are really advance labs we have our own restaurant inside the college. If we talk about production there is various sections like basic training kitchen (BTK), advance training kitchen (ATK), larders kitchen, bakery etc. If we talk about front office we have our own front office lab.

The hostel is really good they provide all the facilities like tv room indoor games and outdoor games There are some restrictions for the students like after 11 pm all the students should be not allowed to go outside of there room Warden is also really helpful.

If we talk about seniors they are really helpful to us to study for festivals or for projects related they are really helpful to us.

For the admission in this college, I show the advertising of the institute in poster and I call for getting information about college and course, they call me at there office for more information when I show interest in it all the member of the office are really helpful for all the process they take me to the college located where form the office to shows facilities of the college office of sihm is located in Ahmedabad.

If we talk about the faculty members of the college. All the faculty members are well qualified and well knowledgeable about the industry If we talk about the food production the faculty for food production is really helping knowledgeable.
