The college provides placement and internship opportunities to the students of the college through the placement cell of the college. The placement cell hosts an internship and placement fair every year in which different companies participate. In accordance with this, the placement cell also brings in companies throughout the year with internship opportunities. Companies like Zomato, Wipro, Cars24, Deloitte, etc. participate in the placement drive.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I want to learn computer languages and coding so that I could remain updated in this digital world. And also I could get a second option for my career, as my first preference is UPSC. Talking about faculty so the faculty is quite good and experienced and their way of teaching is quite good. And student ratio is also good and ratio have qualities quite focused students are there I think this all happens due to faculty. Teaching methods are also good practical classes also happen from time to time. Exams are like a festival that comes every 5-6 months and the level of exams is also good if one has a good knowledge of the whole syllabus and has attended maximum classes can easily achieve good marks in exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose mathematics was it was my area of interest with my aim of going for an exam of CDS. The faculty ratio in my class is 1:52. The teachers are well qualified with expertise in lecture delivery keeping in mind the technicality of the subject. Exams are held routinely but are quite difficult to pass given the nature of the exam.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Food Technology is a very interesting domain. I always wanted to choose a course that is applicable in our day-to-day life and food technology is one of them. The industrial exposure that you can get after studying this subject is extremely good. Professors teaching this course have a very good command of their respective subjects. They are highly knowledgeable and all of them are Ph.D. They have also passed the PI and eligibility tests before being selected to this university. Semester vice exams take place which is divided into internal and external exams respectively. You will rarely find any difficulty in attempting your answers because questions are very relevant and interesting.

Placement Experience:

Generally, Zoology Students don't get any placements related to their field but if they have good communication skills and fluent English. The companies may select them. The placement thing is mainly for the commerce student, who wants to get a job just after completing graduation or from the third year itself. The companies that visit are gionee, josh, coco cola, Wipro, Paytm, snapdeal, Oyo etc. They offered a good package of around 8 lakhs per year and it was the highest package offered till date. The lowest package was around 4 lakhs per annum. I want to pursue higher studies so I didn't register for getting placement.

For internships, any student if get can join, but for placements generally, third year student is eligible to take part in it. Companies like Infosys visit the campus for recruiting process. The average package was around 3 LPA. Generally, placements are for Commerce students. I am preparing to go for masters after the graduation degree. The percentage of students getting placed is not good. Only a few students are placed.

Remarks:

Hindu College is one of the best colleges in the country. I was lucky to get into this institution. One of the main reason to choose Hindu College was the faculty of the college which is experienced and is considered to be highly qualified. Another reason was the atmosphere of the institution and the diversification of students of the college. It has students from every part of the country. It also provides various opportunities to take part and improve in various extracurricular activities via different societies. I believed that the college can alter my personality completely and it did. I opted for Physical science chemistry because I wanted to study all the three subjects i.e, Physics, Maths and Chemistry.
