Remarks
I only have positives to share about my college. I did both graduation and masters from here and have to admit, it almost felt like a second home to me. We learned a lot, enjoyed a lot. Infrastructure was awesome, faculty was supportive and the curriculum was well updated.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum was carefully curated in order to make students capable of catering to the managerial needs of rapidly changing corporate landscape. We studied 9 subjects every semester. In addition to that, a non-credit summer internship was also mandatory. The internship was very crucial since my job interview revolved around my internship project report.
Placement Experience
Our training and placement cell is pretty active and they cater to the placement needs of the students, as well as the training and development of the students. The average package of our department stands at 2.4 LPA while some of the students secured as high as a 6 LPA package. Still, there are only a few students who managed to secure such high packages and the average package still has a lot of room for improvement.
Fee Structure And Facilities
My total course fee was around 59k for a two-year program, which was to be paid in four installments, at the starting of each semester. My per semester fee was just above 1 lacs which included tuition fees, examination fees, security deposit, registration fee, library fee, etc.
Campus Life
Campus life was electric here. Our campus was the oldest and most diverse campus of all. Annual sports day and Annual youth fest were celebrated with utmost enthusiasm. The annual cultural fest organized for all. In this fest and many other events, many celebrities would visit the campus to perform.
Hostel Facilities
Accommodation facilities are also provided by our college at pretty nominal prices. Students can opt for an air-conditioned and non-AC hostels. Hostel facilities are great and the infrastructure is also good. I opted for the hostel during my first year. The only issue I faced was regarding the maintenance.
Admission
I appeared for the MAT exam and secured a decent score of 500. I applied for the MBA program with my MAT score, but the institute accepts scores of various management level entrance exams. Shortlisted students are then invited for an interview round with one of the panel members. My admission was pretty hectic, but still, I am glad that I opted for ECIMT.
