Nehru institute of engineering and technology

Positive are Good infrastructure, Good management, Very good faculties and staffs, Good team work, Strong alumni base. Negative are Little bit strict, Poor hostel facilities including mess, Cultural persons are not recognised properly.

I chose Aeronautical engineering as my core area. Overall the exams were average but some were a bit hectic. Though thise initial days were little bit tiring but later on got into the flow. Overall those days were great.

Placements were not upto the mark, actually we were expecting few core industries for our placement drive. But non of them came, don't know the exact details of that. Few of my friends got into some other IT companies.

We had two festivals one for technical and the other for cultural. Festival one is known as Vihan which is usually conducted by department of Aeronautical engineering. And the culturals were conducted by the student union.

The college won't provide scholarships to other state students. But friends of mine those were from tamil nadu used to get scholarships from there government. But those amounts were good for under graduate students.

Labs were good but extracurricular activities could have been improved hope they will be improving it in the future or they would have improved it. Gender equality were considered and weaker communities were helped.

I have opted for hostel. Yearly they will charge around 50000 rupees per year including mess bill. The food which were provided by the mess people were not upto the mark. Same food almost every day. There were least bothered about the food quality.

My college is having a good alumini network. They used to contact other students usually junior students they keen to help other students to achieve better positions in the society. They used to motivate others to post graduation.

It was my ambition to do Aeronautical engineering. I wrote one entrance exam of tamil nadu government and got selected to do Bachelor of engineering at Nehru institute of engineering and technology at coimbatore.

Faculties were good. Both of the faculties were having master's degree in aerospace engineering. Few had Phd in core aerospace subjects. Some were very interested in teacher and very few were least bothered.
