Remarks
Positive - They are providing good infrastructure & library facility. Faculty is also too good Sports involvement is also good Soft skills & communication skills trainings are too good Negative - Transportation fee is too high Hostel facilities & food facilities are moderate Placement arrangement for mechanical is worst.
Placement Experience
Iam very sorry to say this. There is not good placement arrangement for mechanical students. They arranging off drive campus which is slightly helpful. They are not arranging for any internship instead of that arranging only for Industrial Visit.
College Events
Symposium, Cultural, annual day, and many more events Blood donor day, environmental day, teachers day, students day, Diwali & pongal events Christmas and ramjan events Eid Mubarak events sports events
Fee Structure And Facilities
Feasible. But transportation cost is too high. This is my opinion. Sometimes they give breakage fees & other miscellaneous allowance fees to us without any reasons during my period. Book fees is too high but which is also helpful.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholoship arrangement is too good. There is separate faculty and team are working for us to get scholarship and Education loan from the bank. I got early scholarship from tamilnadu state government yearly which is around 1500 to 2000 INR.
Campus Life
Extra curricular activities are good. They provides Cricket,football,basketball,table tennis courts for us. And yearly they conducted sports day within the departments. Cricket ground is too good. Football court is also good.
Admission
I had scored 84. 5% in my 12th examination. In tamilnadu, we separately calculate the cutoff mark for engineering admission. it is calculated by getting average of physics,chemistry & mathametics marks scored in our 12th examination. Based on these cutoff mark we have to apply for TNEA councelling. Based on these merit list, date & appointment for the councelling allocated by TNEA. On that date & time we have to choose any one of the engineering colleges under anna university after that we have to give some amount to book our college seat. The amount is refundable or deductable from college fees. They give one sheet on confirmation of the college. We have to approach college corporate office for fee details. I had attached the fee details during my period (2016) Tuition fees - 40,000 INR(for Non first graduate) Transportation fees - 12,000 to 17000 INR (it varies with pickup place) Other feeses - Nearly 12,000 to 15,000
Faculty
Some of the faculties are very sound knowledge in subjects as well as practical. Some of them focuses only on subjects. They are completed their PG degree successfully. some of the faculties had very sound knowledge in industry so their experience is helepful for us.
