Homeopathy in Dr.Abhin chandra

The College is very nice. But I cannot deny the scope for improvement. The College canteen can be more developed. Apart from this, I don't have any problem in my College. The faculties are helpful, the fee structure is affordable, the exam pattern is nice. The College trips, picnic, study tours give the students a break from academics. So, overall this is a very good College.

BHMS course is a medical course, and the subjects are that of MBBS course plus some Homoeopathic subjects like homoeopathic pharmacy, organon, materia Medica etc. Through this I'll get an opportunity to serve the people and to treat them properly. The course is of 5½ years plus an year of internship. The exam pattern is very good as it is under Utkal University of Odiaha, and the exams are regulated by this deemed university. The labs are really nice and equipped with all the necessary instruments. Anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, pharmacy labs are very clean and adequate. The environment is very good.

Our College has its own hospital Dr. Abhin Chandra Homoeopathic hospital. It provides 1 year internship in this College. Besides this the students are so well educated that they can easily get appointed in other government and non-government homeopathic hospitals and also can get appointed as medical officers after passing the required examinations.

We celebrate all Indian festivals in our College like Ganesh puja, saraswati puja etc. We also celebrate Holi. We celebrate independence Day and republic day in presence of the whole College faculty. Here in our College we have our annual day celebration, sports week, father of homoeopathy Dr. Hanhemann's anniversary and also some cultural fests annually. There is also interCollege sports meet in which all the homoeopathic Colleges of Odisha participate. Students get chance to show their creativity and talent through writings, drawings etc.

The fees structure is very feasible. It varies for first year to last year. But it is approx. 10000-12000 with the hostel fees per annum. For students who are doesn't reside in hostel they have to pay 8530- 8580 per annum.

Our College offers every kind of scholarship that is provided by our state government and central government, like medhabruti and prerna scholarship. I have availed medhabruti scholarship provided by our state government in which I get rs. 10000 annually and my friends have availed prerna scholarship. There are other scholarships also.

Our College holds many cultural activities. As future doctors we also go for polio awareness programmes and other programmes also. Every year our College conduct different seminars on the current topics related to healthcare, society so that we can keep our views on them and make people understand about different aspects of that topic.

The hostel facilities are very good. We have our mess where the cook serves food for lunch and dinner. There we have to pay extra electric bill, water bill and some other expenses monthly besides our annual hostel fees. The hostel premises remain clean and there are good facilities in terms of room, 24×7 electricity and water facility. We have 2 bedded rooms and 2 big dermis and 2-3 3 bedded Rooms also. Accommodation is easy and feasible.

Yes, they are very helpful in all terms. The alumni are always there to help the students as well as College in every way. They contribute for College fund. They help students in their studies, in terms of exam counselling, career counseling etc. They are always there like a family.

I qualified the NEET exam and I choose to study BHMS as my second choice was homoeopathy. After NEET exam, and adequate document verification I got admission in this College. I always wanted to be a doctor so that I can help people to get out of their problems. This was a opportunity for me to be a doctor. that's why I choose this course.

The faculty of our College is filled with experienced homoeopathic doctors and very talented professionals, who make our study really easy for us. There are also some MBBS doctors who come to our College as guest lecturers. Every single faculty is very co-operative towards the students.
