College review

The college is a decent place to do undergraduate but the infrastructure is not so great. But still with the faculties and facilities students will have a great learning experience. With postgraduate education, the college has got less admission so not sure about its progress.

The course was vast and was knowledgeable as well.It gave both theoretical and practical knowledge about the course. Every semester has 6 theoretical subject papers and 3 practical papers. Last semester included a project presentation as a part of the curriculum.

My college provided many on campus drive which brought in my MNC to recruit students. The placement has a decent percentage in my year. But not many top companies came to recruit students. But the college tried to place all the students by helping them attende off campus drives. No internship was provided by my college.

Every year inter and intra level cultural events occurs for all the department. Lot of students from other college used to come and participate in the events organised. Every department conducts a state level technical symposium to showcase and entertain knowledge sharing among the students from different colleges.

Fees is very feasible when compared to other colleges. They adopt a policy of no capitation no donation since they run on a trust. By getting admission through University the fees is around 40 thousand per year and by management it's close to 90k.

There is no such scholarship or loan facility offered by my college. But we can avail educational loan on government banks by providing semester mark sheets and required proofs to avail loan. They provide fee concession for students coming from poor economical background.

They have a badminton court, cricket ground, atheletic ground, basketball and football grounds. They have play area for table tennis and other in door games. Lab facilities are good and sufficient for computer science, physics and chemistry, eee, ece, civil and mechanical experiments.

There is seperate hostel for boys and girls. Since it's a Jain college they provide Jain food as well as non Jain food as well. The quality is good when compared to other colleges in the locality. They provide with common washing machines and tv.

The alumnis have a strong network and they are helpful in all ways. Seniors of the college tend to help the juniors during placement drives and during other spirit building activites. They are invited for functions such as symposiums and cultural.

I applied for counselling in Anna University. I attended the counselling and selected my college and course. Since the seat was available during my counselling date and time I got my admission through the University.

My college faculty were very friendly and helpful in all aspects. They encouraged us to concentrate both in and out of curriculum which helped us to explore all horizons. They motivated us to attend symposiums of other colleges to gain exposure.
