Best college for higher studies!

My journey with the Khalsa college was pretty great. I had a tremendous learning experience dedicated specifically to the financial management and the practical applications of it. I am doing trading as of now from my home itself and wherever I am in my life, Khalsa college has a lot to contribute in my making.

Course curriculum was pretty diversified. We study the general management in brief, while the major emphasis was on the our specialisation. Being from a financial background, I opted for the Financial and Investment specialisation.

Placements are pretty decent in our college. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, IBM, GenPacT, ICICI and Ernst and Young have recruited on the basis of On Campus selection. Some Media and Event Management companies have also recruited students from BCom.

The BCom course fee was around INR 43,000 per year. The college is pretty feasible in the terms of expenses. We had a pretty decent infrastructure throughout the college and the decent quality of teaching imparted on us.

Meritorious students are awarded scholarship by our college. Some of the notable scholarships offered by our college are S.Tarlochan Singh Sarna Memorial Award, Principal G.S. Randhawa Memorial Scholarship, G.L Sikka Memorial Awards.

Admission process is pretty straight forward and their is no as such exam or interview, just a basic counselling process. Students need to apply at the college with relevant information and appear at the counselling for the document verification process.

Faculty was pretty great. They all were industry specialists and had a lot of experience from different sectors of the corporate. They all were very talented and educated. While some of them were visiting faculty from other departments. Overall, the standard of teaching was good.
