MBA course at TIMR

The course structure of the MBA is very detailed with not only theories but also with activities and practices of communication skills. It helps us understand more about management. The exam structure is of semester wise, there are four semesters. 50 marks for theory and 20 marks for objective and 30 marks for internal marks.

The placement and job opportunities rate is not that high in our college. It is in progress mode. But the placement cell still manages to place the students though. Around 60 or 70 % of our seniors were placed. Besides our college provides internships, every student must do summer internships. The college referred us to the company. We also received stipends of around INR 7000 per month.

The fee structure is feasible. It was around Rs.70000 in a year. This includes tuition fees and other fees. And for the students who have done the admission with the MHCET score, we were able to avail scholarships. My fee was around Rs. 60000 in a year.

Our college provides a scholarship for the students who are from Maharashtra who has done the admission through MHCET exam. Our college also accepts all the scholarships provided by the Maharashtra state. They also accept National scholarships.

I did not opt for the hostel, but I know that the hostel infrastructure is very big and the facilities of it are very good. It has 10 floors and it is a mixture of all the departments. There are no separate hostels in department wise. All the hostel has bathroom attached as well.

I took the entrance exam of the MH-CET exam and secured the marks of 76% and then I contacted the college through their helpline and eventually visited the college. They helped me out in filling the application form and all the documents required to be submitted were given in a list.

Overall, the faculty of my college are highly qualified in their own field and are experienced. They are very sincere and there are times when they are strict and times when they are chill too. They are the advantages of this college.
