Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum was pretty thorough and informative. It prepared us to be mentally prepared for future corporate jobs. We learned a number of different things, ranging from corporate models to basic business etiquette. During the course span of 2 years, we studied 9 subjects each sem. and appearing for exams at the end of each sem.

Placement Experience

Placements are pretty good in our campus. Packages offered are pretty decent. Students from my batch even secured packages as high as 12 LPA in MNCs. Average package were somewhere around 4 LPA. Overall the placement record were pretty decent in our college, thanks to the assistance provided by the placement cell.

Fee Structure And Facilities

My annual fee was around 1.1 lacs which was at par with other MBA colleges. This fee included tuition fee, examination fee, registration fee, etc. There were no additional charges as such. Facilities provided by the college were also pretty decent.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are awarded to the meritorious students on basis of their academic performance. Apart from that numerous other scholarship options and e grants are awarded to the students by SMJV Trust.

Admission

I applied at the CKSVIM college with my CMAT score. I downloaded the application form from the official website and filled all of my academic details and entrance exam score. After being shortlisted, I attended the GDPI round. Last step was document verification process.

Faculty

Faculty was one of the key element in our college. The faculty was dedicated towards shaping career of the students in the right direction. Some of them were even involved with the research work especially in the, which they shared with us. Case study analysis was pretty informative which was based on real life scenarios companies face and how to deal with them.

Placement Experience:

Placement Experience:

The placement season at IIMA starts from December onward. This includes a three to four day marathon placement season that witnesses more than 150 companies visiting the campus. These companies include MNCs such as American Express, Blackrock, Boston Consulting Group, Mastercard, P&G, Nestle Indian conglomerates such as Aditya Birla Group, Tata Group, Mahindra Group, HUL, technology companies such as Amazon, Zomato, Sprinklr. In total ~480 offers are made to candidates in total across laterals as well as finals placement processes. A 100% placement has been a record at IIMA for many years now. While the average package lied somewhere around INR 20 LPA, the maximum was to the tune of INR 75 LPA (and perhaps even more for international locations). I ventured into consulting domain, one of the most revered and sought after clusters post my MBA at IIMA.

I chose this college as C.K. Shah Vijapurwala Institute of Management (CKSVIM) gave me the direction I needed towards my goal.
