Remarks

Well there's a downside to every thing as well as a good side to it. The good side is that even if there is load number of students present in the class that teachers will not refuse to take the class but instead suggest in taking the class even if there are less students capacity. On the other hand the downside of the RSS Law College is that the infrastructure is not adequate for students the roads which connect to the college under constructed the college is an open ground and it is located in urban area.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The Course is of 5 years intergrated course which is B.A L.L.B which provides you ultimately 2 degress one of a Bachelor In Arts and A Law degree i.e LLB. The exam usually takes place semester wise, which has internals of 20 marks and 80 marks written paper.

Placement Experience

1

Unlike the NLU's, no colleges under Calcutta University offers any placements. Internship is suggested by the college for practical knowledge and better understanding of the law. Usually they suggest to intern under a senior lawyer, which ultimately helps in the last semester of the course

College Events

4

Events like 1. Teacher's Day 2. College Fest 3. Annual Function 4. Moot Court 5. Talent Hunt 6. Quizes The committee of the RSS Law College charges 500 for all of the above and few ommited events that takes place during the year.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure for 5 years is Rs.220000. It is quite decent and inexpensive compared to other private law colleges. It is feasible as they charge twice a year with a break of 6 months each. At every interval of 6 months they charge 21000 Rs

Fees and Financial Aid

There are no loan facilities available in RSS Law College, students taking admission have to pay the full lumsum amount of Rs. 220000 either by cash or post dated cheque. So there are no loan and scholarship facilities available.

Campus Life

3

There is a common room for some indoor games, sports day is organized once every working year. Where the entire college from seniors to juniors take part in the competition and different events that are offered in the events

Alumni/Alumna

There's a committee, known as Rainbow. It is operated by seniors and they have a very clean conduct all year round. They are helpful and are very determined about the work and development of the college.

Admission

First I had to register myself under Calcutta University B.A. L.L.B entrance exam. After the exams, with the help of the merit list. I was suggested this college, with that suggestion. I took admission into this college.

Faculty

4

The faculty of Rabindra Siksha Sammilani Law College is pretty decent or average I would say, things could be improved. But teachers pay a lot of attention and entertains questions and responses from students
