Doaba College Jalandhar

College is great to learn and other fields like sports and lab work. We have had a privilege to learn using physical equipments rather than just using the books. All in all it was a great experience to be there.

Exam structure is great, they have yearly exams unlike other colleges. They don’t pressurise the folks. they rather provide complete guidance and proper practical education which help the students to learn.

Placement opportunities are not that great. No major companied are coming to the college as it is a low merit organisation so only 1-2 companied visit the college every year and they also pick around 10-15 people

We have had a lot of events in the college. A lot of famous celebrities like shahrukh khan, Katrina kaif and Anushka sharma have been there. They organize a feat every now and then so all in all there are loads of opportunities to enjoy

Fees structure is definitely feasible as they don’t charge much and it is just a minimal amount according to the facilities and the infrastructure they provide. This is pretty feasible for all the members

I know that they have few scholarships available for the students who are having 90% + marks in their school tenure and for rest their is no other scholarship scholarship program. We haven’t had a chance to do indepth analysis on this.

They have labs for almost everything like science labs. computer labs. and sports facilities are also amazing. there are 5 grounds in the area and they can be utilised for football. basketball. baseball. cricket.

Alumni network wasn’t really helpful as they have been focusing on their stuff and they aren’t involved in their juniors. they have loads on their shoulders and that might be the reason behind this.

Basis the results of 12th, I got the admission and they took a short interview to evaluate my skills and knowledge. Interview included a professor and a staff member. It was a quick session of approximately 15 mins

Faculty is great and they have complete knowledge of the given tasks or the subjects. They have kept us informed about our actual goal which is to prepare for future rather than being just book worms.
