Remarks

It’s a good college will almost all the facilities provided and even considering type of placements and internships students are going to get. One negative remark will be on Boys hostel. I know it’s a old structure but can make efforts to renovate as it’s a Govt owned college.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Curriculum includes most of the subjects/courses that are cover in IlM’s including case studies and in final year students will get to choose the optional courses available based on their interest. As it is a trimester system, three exams will be conducted in a year where students have to score minimum marks to get passing grade. Marks will be also allotted to internal exams, quiz’s, assignments, class participation and attendance.

Placement Experience

5

Till now VAMNICOM is providing 100% placements. Even students can choose from many different sectors to join. ( Retail, commodity, banking and finance, Insurance, Agri-input etc.) Selection process may vary from Company to Company. Internship: College Management will select few students as Placement coordinators and their job is to the make the groups themselves to present the Colleges Process of Placement and internship to various companies at various locations. Based on these presentations Companies come to College on a prior notice either selecting students for placement or internship or both. Or you can even look the jobs and internships for yourselves. My experience as internee: I Completed my internship at NITI Aayog ( Govt. of India). For this internship you have to apply for internship in NITI Aayog’s website and this internship will be unpaid. Or else you can choose the sectors and crack the selecting process in private Companies ( In Campus or telephonic ),And they will mention how much stipend students are going to get.

College Events

3.5

SUTRA: Aluminus reunion program will be held each and every year. It’s a good opportunity for new students to gain as much as knowledge about the corporate world. SPARDHA: Every year college will Organise a this National event with various competitions and selection process and all the other details will be made available in College’s website. And there will be prize money for the winners. This program will be conducted by students. Food and boarding facilities are made available for the students who come for participation. For more details you can visit college’s website. Others events such as festival celebrations and other small events will be done by students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I think it’s quite feasible compared to other colleges. Total fee will be ? 650000/- for two years and will be paisley in three terms every two years( total of six payments) or you can pay one year fee at once. This fee doesn’t include your food expenses provided in hostel.

Fees and Financial Aid

Only Maharashtra students will get the scholarships based on their selection criteria. (caste and income ). College will make arrangements for few of the well known banks around the premises for lecture on student loans and the interest rates. Students who are willing to opt can choose any of the bank and complete the formalities.

Campus Life

4

There will not be any lab activities. Instead there will be Study visits to different locations in and around Maharashtra and even other states based on the courses. And there is no outdoor ground owned by the college and there are facilities for indoor games like badminton and table tennis.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Yes, I was staying at College Hostel. It is old structure ( Boys Hostel). They will allocate two students per room with two almirahs and the hostel is provided with internet facility. Hostel has one TV and around 5 newspapers will be made available at the hostel and of course food.

Alumni/Alumna

Of course any alumni network will be very helpful. VAMNICOM have a very good alumni network and they conduct a event/program every year by calling its alumni’ for the interaction with students. Taking my Instance, with the help of an alumni I was able to get the internship at NITI Aayog. And I feel it was worth and I’m really proud of completing my internship there without stipend.

Admission

Applicants have to apply for CAT/ CMAT exams, based on their score they have to apply for admission process. Then the college will shortlist the students for Interviews and Group Discussion. Based on their Overall score Including online exam ( CAT/ CMAT) and performance in the. Interviews and GD, college will shortlist the eligible students in their website. Interested students can register their admission by paying fixed amount set by college management.

Faculty

4

Most of the faculty will be external with lot of experience in teaching at different Colleges, some of them including IIM’s. And there will also be internal faculty i.e., In campus faculty they will also teach some selected courses.

The placement opportunity is great, but you have to maintain a good grade with zero backlogs. The campus placement cell offers multiple opportunities, but mostly students from the Engineering department got the highest LPA rather than other specialisations.

Placements are good, during our batch it was pretty low because of the recession and other economic parameters. In MBA mostly the companies come for marketing jobs so mostly the jobs offered was sales, but as the college has became university i think every process has been changed and could result in good placement.

Remarks:

College is almost good .this for those who want only masters but no placement .if you also want to get placed in any company need only degree ur welcome. The management is worst the nonteaching staff doesn't know how to talk with students especially the admission office. I here declare whatever I have seen and suffered I presented my view about this college to you, not it's your choice to go to heaven like symbiosis or choose hell. I was misguided and helpless so I came here means I got fewer marks in a snap so please students appear for snap sincerely.
