SPCET detailed analysis

College is spacious and have scope for improving infrastructure. Apart from that we didn't have any extra subjects that could enhance the practical knowledge. But it could't be blamed or rounded off like an important thing because all normal colleges are in a similar way. I believe in self study and enhancement. Faculty members are mediocre.

The course curriculum is completely outdated need major improvements on the syllabus the exam structures is very complicated there wont be enough holiday for preparation the exam marks is for 100 you need to get more than 45 and internal mark should be 14 in order to get passs. The exam is for 3hours. There are 8 semester so you need to pass 8 semester inorder to get degree.

Placements in the college are below average when compared to other colleges. Only 30% of the students got placed last year. The average salary package offered by the companies was 2 lacs per annum. The companies that visited our campus were TCS, Amazon, HCL, BSNL, etc. The companies offered roles like the front end and back end developer, marketing executive, etc. Internships provided in the college are the worst.

The symposium conducted by the college is very famous, and a large number of students participate. The cultural events conducted in the college are the worst. Workshop will be very rare in this college.

The fees structure is based on Anna university but they tend to collect 18 500 as placent industrial visit from every student still we don't why they collect this if they collect for college improvements we will surely give but they tend to not to improve the college.

The college offer some sort of scholarship for sc students and if your first graduate you can earn a discount of 25,000 for every semester which is equal to 4lakhs can be saved. The college offers loan for Christian students.

They are not usefull because they dont conduct alumni meet so if they conduct it will be useful for the current students and passed outs of the college.

I got admission through anna university counseling which is based on the 12th marks my cuttof mark is 117 so my counseling schedule is was very late. This is only college which is near in chennai so i choosen st Peter's college of engineering and technology they alloted me seat via counseling.

The faculty are well experienced but they lack of attention seeking from students. Faculty must be updated to the current books but they often tell old example which is quite annoying for the students. If they improve their communication skills it will be nice.
